Is this a decent time?

I got 1:35.94 on Blackwood GP using a keyboard, i used the xf(stock version). i am new to this game and have had it for about 5 days. Do you think this time is ok?

yes it is, practise more, move to mouse. Get S2 and buy a wheel. Your developing pretty fast :)

thx for the feedback. but i tried mouse and it's quite hard, but a steering wheel wont be an option becuase i always need my money for somethig else. still i will practise loads with keyboard and watch replays and see where to brake and accelerate.

A good way to tell how you're doing is to hop on a server and race. If you win the race, you're probably doing pretty well. If you're in dead last, a full lap behind the guy ahead of you, you've got some work to do.

The keyboard will definitely be a limiting factor for you, though. Even a joystick is way better, and you can get one of those pretty cheap. That's how I started out, with steering on the X-axis, throttle on the trigger, and brake on the thumb button. Some other joystick drivers use the Y-axis for throttle and brake but that never felt right to me.

lol, he's gone! i've got my laps down to the low 1:36's (practising for the MMS cup :D), so you're doing pretty well as i consider myself a fairly competent driver!
