Yes, i've done a search, aswell as looked at the 'similar' threads.
My problem is that i'm at college and the network requires the use of a proxy server. It's just a simple username and password required, and i'm guessing this is why LFS cannot connect to the master server.
I don't beleive LFS cannot get around this, and if it can't well then it's pretty disappointing.
Thanks, Brent.

It is most likely the proxy which does not allow communication on ports used by LFS. Either ask local admins to open ports 63392(TCP+UDP) and 29339 TCP, or use something like HTTP-Tunnel (low-bandwidth service is free) to at least unlock your LFS. Gaming through such utility might be quite awful, tough I have never tried it...

Yeah, well it is unlocked because i unlocked it at home before I came here..
But the thing is, the network supported by the University which well... is huuuuge and there's no going up to them kinda thing :(.
However, I tried what you said, and I have HTTP-Tunnel on my PC and it acknowledges my proxy.. However LFS still doesn't connect to master server? All I did with HTTP-Tunnel was fill in the proxy details and it said it was successful. What do I do then?

Have you tried this (http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/view.php?id=777295&da=y) guide? This particular one describes how to run Steam games through the tunnel, but it should work for LFS as well.

Thanks MadCatX for replying and trying to help me with this situation. I tried the suggestion, and LFS still cannot connect to the master server. Steam works, and it boots LFS up, but still won't connect to master server.
Not sure if there's really anything else we can do.
But yeah a big thanks for taking your time to help me.
