So I just downloaded Jakg's demo-only LFS and it's got some missing files, the bushes and trees are gone. I looked at the DDS folder and there are some files that has 'bush' and 'tree' in the name. But there are no such things in game!!!

Nope, I already looked at that. I think it's glitched because you can see the white squares.

Try reinstalling LFS. I had this glitch once, reinstalled LFS and it never happened again.

I am sure just copying the files from this link (http://www.lfs-database.com/plugins/p13_download_manager/getfile.php?categoryid=2&p13_sectionid=87&p13_fileid=669&p13_versionid=709) should work as well, without reinstalliation.
