Ahhh I've seen this, Best Motoring is always great to watch :) Always cool cars, and crazy driving by their crew :)

(But this video has the worst commentary, lol. I'd much rather listen to the usual Japanese commentator)

M3 CSL was nuts through that S turn!

Great video!

Were they all on the tyres they come out of from the factory or were they all on the same tyres? The M3 CSL was impressive considering it is probably the cheapest car there... I'm very surprised at it beating the Ferrari 360 - was that a Porsche 911 996 or 997 there? I couldn't see it too well but it looked like a 911 996 GT2.

In incar camera it said 911 Turbo.

Great vid, great cars! (the commentary was the worst like tweak said)

This also shows we need some more in-class competition. It's really cool to watch some cars be faster throught the S-es and others on accelleration. :thumb:

Ahhh, but as you saw, the ones that were 'faster' won... which is typical of our LFS car classes. No two cars are completely even I guess, but... that video there is a perfect example of how uneven car classes can be. And in LFS' sake, it is good and bad... but mostly dissapointing for certain people who like a car that is slower overall than another, but in the same class, like RB4 vs. FXO :zombie:

(man, RB4 beating the FXO, that'll make my day!!!!)

I don't think that was "even competition" but simply staged. My opinion and a very good explanation. :)

id like to see the gtr's match up more closely.... fz have the straghline speed but slower through tight corners.. have the fxr faster at cornering but lower top end speed.. and xrr some where in between... just a thought....

I think that the driver of the NSX-R was the best of the whole field by far, I think he was the only reason to make the NSX-R that competitive to the Lamborghinis...

We just need a new kind of result list which would have different classes. Problem solved. :)

Yeah, no kidding. I can only imagine with the driver of the NSX would have done in one of those Lambos!

the driver of the NSX
Motoharu "Gan-San" Kurosawa, 60+ :Looking_a

He for sure got the experience, it was top notch driving. Those other drivers didn't go for a good clean line.

Gan-San is the daddy of the series, and is known for his mad charges, he usually pushes much much harder than anyone else, especially when he is in a Japanese NSX R versus competition from other country of course!(Who would have pushed as hard in a Lambo that is 5 times more expensive :D)
