JOOS - car message when trying to join servers

I'm playing the S2 Demo and when I try to connect on some servers I get two messages: "Joos Car" and "Initial synchronisation failed".

Actually I join those servers and stay there for 2 or 3 seconds before being sent back to the multiplayer menu. I then see the above messages.

I don't use a router and my firewall is always off when I'm playing. I don't have problems with high temperatures inside the case either, nor my cpu is overclocked.

I noted yesterday a very interesting thing: the game will not allow me to join (and show me the "Joos - Car" message) ONLY servers where the XR GT Turbo is available to play. As I said, I'm playing the DEMO, and on servers that allow only the XF Gti and XR Gt I can join without any problems. By the way, in offline mode I too can drive the XR GT Turbo without problems.

Any suggestions?

OOS means out of sync, I'd guess JOOS would be join out of sync or something :)

= your cars (in this case only the XRT) don't match the ones on the servers you're trying to join.

If you are sure you haven't modified the car in any way (as far as I know it isn't even possible) then I'm clueless. Maybe extract the LFS zip-file to another folder and try running that, see if that helps (maybe re-download the zip) just to be sure that the XRT is untouched.

I have the original cars, never tried to modify them. I don't have even download any different skin. I'm going to try another download and install to see if it solves the problem.

I think you have a different version of LFS,
latest is 0.5P2


try a new download abd it should work, (I think)
