the sheets that the co-pilots read from........where do they get them? do they drive the course and make their own?

when do they do this?
i'm curious what the exact procedure is.

Yeah they drive the course at a moderate pace, and the driver tells the copilot what to write down. Then when they drive the course at fully speed the copilot reads the notes out (written in his own short-hand) at the rate required by the driver.
