View Full Version : New Member of Development Team! :)
Scawen
4th March 2006, 19:27
Dear LFS Racers.
We are proud to announce... a new member of the development team! :D
Well... sort of, well... maybe a tester... well... not really! :) :) :)
OK, well actually the truth is, this is, in a way, an announcement which will let you know the reason why, after 7 years of late working and neglecting my house, I've spent quite a high proportion of the last nine months, working on the house, including the famous kitchen, a new shed, some bathroom improvements and another very small room upstairs. A small room, for a small person!
YES! Geraldine and I are very proud and happy to announce our new baby son, named Leo! He was born on Monday this week, 27th February! :)
Click the link to see some photos of us and Leo! :D

Honstly, he's a very lovely bundle of joy :D
Even though these "news" might delay S2's progress even more, this is the best thing that could happen for you and your family Scawen.
I personally like to see you all happy and well because after all, LFS is just a piece of software. There's more fundamental things to life, but you of all people should certainly know that by now, holding him in your arms ;)
It certainly won't do anybody good to work themselves to death and neglect everything else that's there.
I wish you all the best. Enjoy his childhood while you can :)
Cool looking noob you got yourself there :scratchch
I honstly laughed approximately 5/8th of my ass off when I read that. Calling a baby a "n00b"...

It's good for LFS too!!! Scawen will be kept awake all night by the crying, and so can sit there and code to keep himself awake to deal with the next baby related incident :D
Only kidding. I really hope it works out, and I look forward to seeing Leo in the betatesters credits ;)

Congrats to Scawen, Geraldine, and little Leo!!!
Don't worry, its not as bad as they all say. You just won't sleep for around 6 months. By then you can get them into a normal bedtime. But by that time, he'll force you to do all your coding with him on your lap and you may get quite a few bugs to track down as he pounds on the keyboard .
