You post on the lfs forum asking if its any good?:pillepall
If you liked the demo - IMO the game is 10000000 times better and you will enjoy it. SO yes it is good and worth getting.:thumb:

If you like GT4 and NFS you'll either love LFS because it's about a million times more realistic, or you'll hate it because it's a million times more realistic.

Exactly what you're after I don't know, but I'd say try the demo. In S2 full there are more cars and tracks, most of which are quicker or better than those in the demo. The multiplayer aspect is also better than in the demo, as people have usernames, and tend to have more interest in racing cleanly.

I cant belive how good it really is a buyer for sure.... the reason i posted on this boards to get a feel of what people really think of this game not that if they hated it.... as you can see from my join date im old to this game just have not played since it was just starting and was wondering if anything has changed...

Absolutely my opinion. Been driving this for well over 6 months, every day, I participate in a league, I'm a member of a team, having fun every day, it obviously sucks. ;)

I love Gran Turismo, loved it since day one, and have never missed a title since. Its a fine line between realism and arcade, and thats why it sells so well. I hate NFS:Underground and anything after it, the previous titles are cool though, driving the M5 and being chased, good times!:thumb:

Ive only got the demo, and i reckon you should just keep playing that for now, as you're probably aware LFS isnt complete yet, but the level of gameplay in the demo, is more then enough to convince me! At the end of the day, it doesnt matter what Tom Dick or even Harry has to say about the game, its your money, and your time, if you like it buy it!

Why wait to buy? It's true that S2 isn't finished, but the alpha is so good, why wait. You can pay now and play the alpha, and have already paid for the "real" S2, or you can play with 3 cars and 1 track and wait, and pay the same amount when the "real" version of S2 comes out. You don't gain anything by waiting.

Buy S2 and you'll help pay for Scawens next haircut. It'll cost a fortune, so all donations welcome :D

(sorry Scawen)

Is S2 anygood?
It depends on what you mean by "good" ...

If you think it is good at taking your social life away, then YES! If you think it is good for enjoying everynight racing, then YES! If you think it is good at how real it simulates the real thing, then YES! But if you think it is good at taking corners at 200 kph or at tuzing your car, then a big NO! :tilt: :thumb:

Mate, if your into your racing games then LFS is a must for any library. Imho, it should be the only racing game in your library. (did I say game, I meant to say simulator!!)

No point holding out on the demo, you'll just get really frustrated with wreckers and slow drivers. Get onto the pro circuit -v- and get proper racing like . .

i bought s2 after a month on demo,( bit earlier than i intended but ive got a six year old who wanted to drive the car that looked like a mini)

anyway, its absalutely brill, the best way i can describe it is that trying it recaptured the excitement of playing the original grand prix on the amiga 500 when it came out or buying a pc to play grand prix 2.

unless you've spent a lot more time on demo than me , be prepared to be out of your depth at first with new cars and tracks but on the other hand if youve mastered the demo and are wining races all the time then re expereince the wonder awe and terror that you felt when you first tried the demo.

servers are fewer that for demo (at times i play) but are far more freindly with much better driving standards.

if your a serious racer buy it, if youre the kind that enjoys driving with no rules and anything goes then maybe youd be better sticking to demo version
