Danish TDRT Race League 2009

8 rounds:
30 mins. qualification session
20 or 30 laps mainrace with forced pitstop and qualification races for late joiners.
Starttime: 19.00 UTC

Green qualification races are " for the fun of it only", without the chance to score league race points but the chance for late-joiners to enter the league and a "no-pressure" race for all already entered teams.
Red round races are the important ones, where you´ll have the chance to score your teams league points.
The final race of this season will be a longer endurance race with double points. This very track will be chosen after a public poll - in good time.

Cars:
GTR & TBO. It´s allowed to change cars in every race as long your team has one TBO and one GTR car.

FZR : +20kg
FXO : 3% Air Intake Restriction

Teams:
A team consists of one TBO (XRT, RB4 or FXO) racer and one GTR (XRR,FZR or FXR) racer.
Racers without a team can form a team for this purpose as well as racers in two different teams will be allowed to form a combined team. The overall score of a team will be the combined results of both cars after every race. This way more attention will be payed the slower car class.Some driver changes during the season will be accepted.

Practise & Race Server:
TDRT The Danish Racing Team.
The server from now on will be 24/7 online with the (airio) required restrictions, LFS remote visible.

Tracks:
Tracks have been chosen in order to be a good practise for different league races, happening a couple of days later (ICup, IGTC, iCCT, GTLA, oneGP)

Yey, interested.

Only two drivers per team, or is more alloved? Two driving per event of course, but is it alloved to change the drivers during season, if all are signed up pre-season, and have not done/will not do any races in other teams?

Asking because I can allready see some dates I'd not be there.

It would be nice to see two main drivers in a formed team. Having sayed that, we´ll allow some driver changes during the season. In case we think it´s just too much of changing drivers, we´ll contact this very team and have a chat about it.

The server from now on will be 24/7 online with the (airio) required restrictions, feel free to check times and/or practise with some other racers. It´s LFS remote visible as well.

The server is public. Everybody is allowed to race there. Just remember to adjust the car settings (+20kg FZR, 3% FXO Air Intake Restriction), otherwise you won´t be able to join out of the garage...

Forgot to close msn and somebody wrote to me , obviously i didnt reply cause i was racing and they 'nudged' me. This for some reason closed LFS and i spun out. Im gutted cause i was in fourth and closing into the CR car in third.:shrug:

hey racers!
i had a lot of fun yesterday. the GTR are so much faster and the TBO are like parked cars, a nice combination. after a good poleposition i had some nice fights with arni and troy. for 4-5 laps the lead of tbo changed every corner. :D but i made a mistake. on lap 5 ,i think, i was forst and arni behind me. i saw rudi coming up in his fxr and i let him place inside in turn one. but he don't passed me.arni take this chance to attack me in the next 2 slow turns on right. he passed me outside and i touched him heavily in the back. the man from the icelands lost the control and crashed into a wall. it was my mistake. sorry again! i waited him. i finished the race in second TBO-position. not bad, but first was better :D

I really would have liked to battle with you for the whole race, but i seem to be some crashmagnet last races i had.

Im not gonna make any complaints about this all, i might show up next time around too for some good racing.

Funny event. Had some weird time out involving stash space during Qualifying, which meant I had no chance to challenge for the pole. :(

Turn 3 someone forgets to brake and slams into those in front, causing me to get spun. Great luck eh? :razz: On lap 5 I was already back up to 7th and trying to go past P6 into T1. He braked 100m+ early into the corner, realised his mistake and slammed the throttle back on. I had no idea his front bumper was still at my rear, and presuming he had carried on braking turned in, though still later than normal just in case. Bang, spun around. Ah well, one of those things. :)

Arni, I own you an apology too, during one of my quali runs I came up to you on the exit of the 3rd gear long left. I tried to take it as tight as I could, but got a little loose and ran wide, forcing you off. I hope you were not on a lap. :(

Looking forward to the rest of the season though guys. Should be really good fun. :thumb:

This race IMO was on a very high standart.

I just want to mention that we have succeeded to involve participating teams in the admining post race part of this testrace 2 and the ones to come.

Next and final testrace will be next Wednesday, 25th March at Aston Grand Prix reverse ( AS5r) which is the same track like the upcoming PLZ organized ICup 2009 race on 8th of April.

I had a good set that I received by Fiore so thanks M8. qualification was good to me. This was definitely the best competition so far. GTR drivers had MUCH more respect for TBO drivers.
I did just a mistake .. I change tires when I did my pit stopp.Men, I finished in 3 place in the TBO car class.

Great race! :thumb: Was exciting all the way to the finishline.
I was having alot trouble to get even a good time in gualify, but manage to get best time with last lap, and i get myself to second. Between two XRR guys... I was hoping that Zapphord from first place gonna start like xrr usually do, slow. And pretty much he did. With better start, i get inside line to t1, and good lines to first braking corner/turn.
And after that i was struggling to keep my first place to the end, but i did it :) There was all the time someone under 5sec gap to me, atleast feeled like it.

So sad
I was 8th in quali and less than 0.1 to 6th place i made my pb and was feeling very good befor the race. Qualifying was very nice and competitive. But race :( Another fail. I drove with TwinFlow side by side and lag....... and i was near gras and lag crashed me out and i fliper on roof so my race over. :( I was feling so good on this track :( Good luck to my mate at race withc is in progres now. Race are realy good, but im so unlucky :( Thanks to TDRT to awesome cup :thumb: and again i hoping better next race :thumb:

First look just after the race:
CR|Eisbaer in FXR wins in front of ERT J.Ward (+5 secs, FZR) and me (+6secs, FXR) in the GTR class.
FLP/r Jouman (XRT) takes the win in his TBO in front of IDR Black (+7 secs,FXO) and TDRT T.Jessen (+13secs, FXO) at Round 4 at Westhill Int.
Overall leading Concept Racing suffers a unlucky timeout in the TBO class.

It was quite fun experience by driving in this race of TDRT league. I had race i think fifty/fifty. I did some tactics's misstakes and after then i have been working on reaching 9-th position about half race and when i earned it, guy, whose name is troy from CR Team has fliped me :(:shrug: and mine race was over. It's kind a sad. Its good that my teammate Jonas has finished in 15-th position and earned worthy points or our team.

Nice race, grats to the winners. I didn´t have a race set so i did one qualy lap and used the rest of the time to do a race set, that didn´t work out.
The car was undrivable,so i changed tires in the pitstop hoping to nurse them through the race. Stupid mistake really...i will prepare well next time.

Inofficial race results right after round 6 this evening:

Italian IDR reserve driver " mc0676" wins the 20 laps Fern Bay Black reverse race today with 1,90 secs in front of FLP/r Jouman in XRR, third CR, Eisbaer.
CR Troy takes another win in the TBO class just 0,11 secs in front of IDR Black, third TDRT C. Kistner.

Round 7 next wednesday,03.06, will be at South City Long reverse.

Ok, guys here is my promised video - http://www.vimeo.com/4898046. I uploaded it on vimeo, because he is pretty long 15 min lengh. It's long because there was alot of crashes, battles. I was working all day on the video. Firstival, i tryied to make it with windows movie maker, but i had problem it couldnt save video, so i had to make video with Adobe Premiere, im newbie on it. So I had to remake video and I add one bad clip in video, I'm sorry about that, because it was late and I was losing my concentration. Everything else seems are good. Sorry for a few inconvinience :shrug:. Have fun watching it. Hope you like it.

Excellent 30 laps race today on the South City Long rev. race track.

Unofficial race results:
Team CR, in front in the overall standings wins once more both classes: GTR ( Eisbaer ) and TBO class ( troy ). Second places tonight (+2 secs.) CR TwinFlow and and (+1 secs ) Italian PLZ Black. TDRT C.Kistner 3rd in GTR and Twinflows TBO teammate Salama 3rd in his TBO.

11 teams, 21 racers so far have signed up for the FE3 ( Fern Bay Gold) TBO & GTR race this evening starting at 19.00 UTC.
It will be a " Green Race ", a 30 laps qualification race without chances to score points for the already entered teams but a race for new joiners to get an impression what the TDRT league races is all about.

It´s the race before the very final round next wednesday ( two races ), which will be livestreamed. (There is an ongoing poll about the track with KY3 and AS3 as the prefered choice)

Once more we open up for interested "experienced" racers to join this race this evening. You just send me a PM.

As of the positive respons from the participating teams/racers, TDRT has decided to extend/continue this TBO & GTR league - with some minor changes only. It will start in August 2009.

It was the final round of the Danish TDRT Leagie 2009 at Aston National.
Race 1 was one of the fairest races ever in this TBO & GTR league.
Not for the first time we saw the same racers/teams in front - here team CR and Italian-Dutch Racing chased by the TDRT racers. Good races as well for ERT|Y.Laprevotte and CoRe T.Østgaard,substitute driver at Norwegian team [GSR]. Admins will go through the replays now, official race and league results to be published in some days before TDRT league will go on a short summerbreak with a single rally-cross event only midt-July just before in August the TDRT League Take II will get launched.

Mr. Stankevicius, you have your own style covering up a race and do it pretty well.
Picture quality of the movies you´re working at, I got told, good to know.
Also you remind me of good songs in every movie. Songs I had all forgotten about.
