Driving Force Paddle Shift

I just got my wheel working today (A Driving Force For PS2 ) And my paddle shift has started acting up. I went out on the track and tryed to gear up but was stuck in 1. I then cahanged the gear up button. So what do you think may have caused this?

I cant really say if you had the paddles SELECTED for shifting gears...
Maybe thats it, really simple?

I dont think it's a big problem, just look at all settings again and I think it'll be gone:)

I'm positive it's not that. I guess i'll jsut look it all over again soon. Thanks for the input.

Well the DFP is some real quality so it's very odd if something would be very wrong you know:S

He's not n the DFP, he's on the older version of the DFP, has much better paddles but i'm on my 2nd one now and it's playing up allready after like 2 weeks, they don't seem to like me these days. :)

One good thing though, even though my last DF died a horrific death the paddle shifters worked perfect all the time.
