Hi guys!
Just got out of the car, was a great race.
Sadly some drivers did not understand what endurance means and drive really agressive (even tough its only 2 hours), but nevertheless... Besides some unnecessary contacts was a really fair and packing race, good duels.
EDIT:
a shame andre, i saw it.. you didn't deserved it, drove a good race (as far i heard :) )

What did I miss?
So many funny moments :D
I have to watch the race with mpr later...
To name some (and I did miss the start, there have to be more):
- SC funny period, but generally good behavior
- F1RST having 2 cars on track at same time due disconnection
- so many blue flag passes and not so easy passes
- crashing in pit by unknown author :tilt:
...etc...

Race very unfortunate for our team. Guru climb up to 5th place then lead for 2 laps, when drivers get to pits. And then was my turn. Drive well on 5th place. And then what happened? My internet connection gone wild. 3 DC on 28 laps... I am very unhappy about this...

Wow, what an excellent race (ish)
Timo - many thanks for bringing us from the brink of NDR epic failure to gain a pretty damn respectable position :thumb:
I hope my constant ramblings over vent were helpful :)
And I hope you weren't too shocked when I told you I'd actually already worked out fuel levels :D
The race for us was not bad. Thilo got a solid start but had some issues with a spin and some contact, I then went to dinner so Timo took the reins, apparently Yann had some issues so could only do a short stint :(
Then our man Timo got in the car, was consistently quick (ish :P) as well as staying out of trouble. Overtook lots of cars, came into the pits for the stop and overtook yet more cars :)
AND overtook the #31 with one lap to go - great stuff mate :thumb:
Many thanks to all the members of SDF for the setup work, to the admins for putting it on, but GTFO to deko for not causing an SC when we wanted it :tilt:
We very much hope to see you all again at some point in the IGTC series

looks like some people do not know when is the race finish in enduro racing? :scratchch
Looks like people do mistakes and get confused when they do not read carefully messages that state.
"Stop at T1 when you finish" and "Don’t do any extra laps."
After that it takes just some team mates saying through the “team radio” that you have to stop etc etc…
All this combined with the fact that the cars that where in front of me stopped, made me want to stop and think about it.:tilt: But I didn’t check the drivers list fast enough… 10second later I disappeared from the track and got the “did not finish” message.
Well it might sound funny but that doesn’t mean I don’t know when a racing event like that ends.

Nice Race but with some Chaos in the first rounds and with the SC.
On the Startlap i was hit some times from behind and when the green flag was rising i got ah full impakt from behind. So i cant drive my pace.
After my Pitstopin begins the next SC vases and the Chaos continue.
Some Driver overtock in SC Time.....
On the end of my stint i can drive my Race times and Pirringer thakes the car.
After all of that i hope our Team is in.
Hope we See us again!

I was not talking about GVR only, there were others, don't worry.
I think you did a very good job in FZR (although you do not race it in MoE) :thumb:
My compliments go to #02 Estonian Endurance Racers and #23 Telmex-VTR-PER for a great result and great fight to the finish. I'm impressed, keep on!
Not to mention all teams that I expected to do well, I would just like to add that #01 Brazilian Racers Team did very well to! #29 Swedish Close Combat Squad with 3 stint / 2 stop showing their drivers was also pretty good. The result is not important but showing that you have capable drivers and understand the rules, that, by my opinion, you did show.
Good race for SERT (congrats ), but on the other hand not so good for SerbianRacers, and they were close in qual... I've expected them both high but don't know what happened.
Looking for mpr, because I've missed start
Maybe some teams took this qual race for granted, not doing their best, which is shame...
I had my 9 teams in my head that I thought will be accepted, but after this race the list is changed.

Phew, Im glad I didnt do any mistakes today :)
Adelin Demetrius was supposed to drive the second stint but he had problem with his wheel (the PC. His wheel "disconnected" from the PC every lap), so I had drive, and I was coming from the H2H series with the UF1, so it was very difficult. UF1 to FZR is not easy, trust me :) But I did okey, I didnt hit anyone and I let everyone a lot of space when I had blue flag etc, and that was our/my goal too. To just finish the race without causing any problems and following the rules. I finished the race 12th which isnt that bad :)

Hello racers, im not the team leader, but i will speak in the name of KARMA RACING team.
Yesterday's race was very unfortunate for us. Our first driver , Rui Gonçalves , had major problems with his internet connection. And then our stand-by driver, Hugo Marques, also had connection problems too... It was very unlucky, cause this rarely happens!
Anyways, both our drivers complained about bad behavior from some pilots...we are not pointing fingers to anyone, but it seems there was litle mutual respect in-track....no fairplay....
Well, the merging of those two problems made our pilots decide to finish the race earlier.
I know this may cause our team not to be picked, and if thats the case, no hard feelings ;) , but our team is recent, and we have been training alot! We are getting better by the day, and we already proved we take this serious :thumb: Its was a shame what happened, but there was nothing we could do...

OK This is SDF Race Report Version 2 :tilt:
Practice:
We didn't really do that much practice together as a team, due to a number of factors including not really having a server to practice on until a week before the event. Luckily the team were very self-motivated and without much prompting from me were happy to do some practice and get the set up to standard. Luckily the set we had was very good and in particular was kind on its tyres, which is vital around Blackwood as the tyres can take a bit of a pounding sometimes. Timo had got himself an excellent quali set and was comfortable with it :)
Qualifying:
Qualifying went very well for us. If you take into account the (in)balancing of the cars, Timo got the 8th fastest time. He got a new pb, and we started 15th, right in the middle of the pack, which we were all very happy with. We were also in a close bunch of 6 cars who were seperated by just 0.1 seconds.
Race:
The start went well for us. We got past 2 cars before T1 (well the other T1 :P) Thilo then had a couple of incidents, but otherwise had a good solid stint - just the way you want to start an endurance race. He then handed over to Yann, who could only do 6 laps as his mouse was messing up. By this time I was still having dinner (:hide:) but Timo got into the car and set off trying to make up for all the lost time. We seemed to be constantly overtaking the #3,#4 and #9 (Timo says sorry for the contact when he overtook you - I put that on IRC but I doubt any of you were there) and "That damned pink car" who we must have overtaken about 75 times during the race :D
And to top it all off we overtook the #31 car for 17th/19th (depending on whether you believe me or the tracker :P) place on the one but last lap :)
My thanks to all my team - I hope I was useful to you on vent, to the admins and all the peeps like that, maybe see you again.
Also I'd like to say how much I enjoyed last night - probably my second best LFS Experience (after the iTCC test race - but you'd do well to beat that!) and I'll certainly be doing some more team management in the future

A piece from #25 Advanced Drivers now :)
We practiced moderately hard for the event, at least so we think. We had a diversified roster with each driver having the upper hand over the other two in some aspect and our race set was great as well. We want to thank the ZION and Lublin-Muroc teams for joint practice :fence: Below follows our story.
On race day, so soon as we illegally went into posession of the server password, we were able to join the event in which we had high hopes. As it turned out later, our hopes were far too high :) Zamer qualified very well, in 7th position, though he had hoped for a better time (like many others). Our frustration started with a drive-through for cutting the pit exit lines during quali. We can't deny our fault, but we don't understand why we were the only one of a few teams doing this that got a penalty. We just don't like the inconsistency and a really low low cut-detection threshold, but there's nothing we can do – we cut and we're punished and nobody said that everyone must be punished – only those caught.
OK, Dominik is on the grid with some really low number of fps (first time with so many cars ahead) and as the cars begin to roll, he encounters some problems with evaluating distance and speed of the cars ahead, knocking a few in the back – sorry guys, this was the matter of fps, not our driver's bad intentions or clumsiness. All of a sudden, we realize we still have the R2s on (the DT made our brains fade) and so we pit and join the rear end.
The race is constantly giving us more reasons for frustration. Cars at the back of the grid lose control every now and then, making us lose these few places that Dominik made up the laps before. Due to this, we are experiencing multiple deja vu-s, swapping places with „that damn orange FXR” ;). Zamer also spins one car in chicane 1, but this is again due to low fps – big sorry to the RSR team :schwitz:
On lap 26, Zamer's G25 decides to give the shifter some holiday treatment as he tries to slide into T1. A safety car follows and this is it for us. :ambulance Congratulations to all those who finished! :checkered
At least we will be remembered as "that damned pink car", so, in some way, our race was a marketing success :)

Well RSR had an eventful race to say the least:)
After being involved in the start crash we needed to pit so Boogle could repair the car. In the pits we encountered a problem we have never seen in LFS before:( The game kept repairing and repairing and repairing the car. We finally had to instruct Boogle to disconnect and Jaybee joined up. This lost us a couple of laps:( After this the rest of the race was spent trying to gain some time back and not interfere with the racers laps up on us.
Very nice to compete in such a well organized event. And if we don't get in this year we now have a few more things on our "Race Preparation List." :thumb:

Well, this remembers me to an incident we had. We were up to pit and swap the drivers. Everything went fine, until... until the swap should happen. But nothing happened. I was still in control of the car, and drove off out spot. I already started yelling why has this to happen in such a race??? We did this hundred times before without problems. Then all the sudden near the pit exit i got kicked out of the car and i saw the car in the TV camera scracthing along the barrier. What the f***? Then the car accelerated and I realized that Trekker took it over. He was most propably smashing his wheel and swearing and got totally surprised about the sudden switch :D. We were totally fuzzy for a lap or so :shy:. Most propably this happened because someone connecting/disconnecting in the same moment.
So, is that crazy enough? :smileypul

Well, this remembers me to an incident we had. We were up to pit and swap the drivers. Everything went fine, until... until the swap should happen. But nothing happened. Yeah, I've seen this happen before as well. Very odd, and probably lag-related.

Yes we have done hundreds of driver changes before and never an issue. But this damage repair hang up was a first:) Ah well you live and learn I guess.
