Hi everyone,

For the upcoming 24 hour race in the Masters of Endurance series, the live stream commentators have asked all teams to provide them with some background information on the team and a guide for pronouncing the driver names. During the creation, more and more ideas sprang to mind and very soon the simple document turned into a magazine-like brochure, which we think might be an interesting read for not just the commentators, but the whole community.

Please find below a list of contents and the download link:

Preface by F1RST Racing's team manager René van der Kooij

Masters of Endurance general information

League administrator and driver for CoRe Racing Ben 'DeadWolfBones' Keough's elaborating on his personal experience with the league
What the LFS devs have to say about the Masters of Endurance!

24 questions for F1RST Racing's co manager and MoE admin Albert 'AppiePils' Terrahe

Short interviews with GT2 team manager and driver Thomas 'Thommm' Arends and GT1 driver Jesse 'RamboJorGen' Nieminen

Extensive interviews with GT1 team manager and driver Christian 'Chriskart' Krognes and GT2 driver Bas 'Darkone55' Bouma

Selected quotes about the 24 hour race

Wow, great job on the magazine. Also very cool to see that Victor plans on watching the 24 hour race. With all the complaining that can happen in the forums, I always hoped the devs realize how many great leagues are based around LFS and its community.

Spoiler alert! :D
But yeah, this was also something I've always wanted to ask the devs! :) And the answer was of course very satisfying.. To know that the developers have this close connection with the community is just great to hear. Thanks for your comment!

Already told traxxion via PM, but I am very impressed by this little magazine. It's currently printing as I type and I will probably use quite a lot of it during the long, lonely hours one must spend as a commentator.

But yes, this is very useful for me indeed - all other teams take note! :D

Many thanks for the comments everyone, it's been quite fun to make this, but it makes it even more fun to see that you've enjoyed it!
Too bad the GT1 dream didn't come true due to a number of incidents, but GT2 made up for it with a brilliant win! :)
And... just to let you know.. Bas kept his promise:

Finally, in one sentence, describe what you're doing on Sunday the 25th of January at 16:00h? (http://www.1stracing.nl/temp/bas.wav)

:D

And yeah...I am interested about when will have released some LeMans - race cars? Then i would say Oh Yeah! (Sorry a bit offtopic, but must say)

Yes, it was very nicely done. MoE should require something like this for all teams, especially for the 24h races. As a viewer, it makes it more interesting when you know something about the team and the drivers.

Also, great job on the 24h race. The telecast was great, DWB was fun to listen to, and kudos to Appie and the rest of the Admins/Marshals. It is a thankless job, but nothing could happen without them.
