View Full Version : A question about qualifying on the online servers.

Hi all, I am reasonably new to lfs, and have been practicing off line in single player since I bought my S2 and G25. The other day I tried to join a server and received a message telling me I had to have a certain lap time in order to join. This was due to the server wanting to keep slower drivers from causing problems during the race. Fair enough, no problem, my question is where do I go to post lap times? Do I have to run in Hotlaps or are my lap times in single player recorded in my stats?
Also, is there a way to view my overall stats for tracks? I mean if I am running blackwood, for instance, is there a way to see what my lap times were from previous runs?

They'll be online lap times :thumbsup:

You can go to LFS World (http://www.lfsworld.net/)which logs every single lap you do online - go there and check it out. It only counts offline laps if you upload replays to the site :thumbsup:

I think Jack answered the question quite accuretly :D

Ingame you can also check your personal best by typing /w pb when your online. You can also check the world record by typing /w wr so you can compare your personal best to the world record. :)

If you cannot find a server running the combo which you need to run to record a time to let you enter the server of your choice with the lap time limitation (breathe), then just host your own game, password it if you want. The laps will be recorded by LFSworld and you can use all the LFSworld commands for statistics.
