Ehh, it's kind of weird now...I also agree that we shouldn't of changed the dates. Because, what are you going to do if 1 person is also going to compete on the next date when we have this race? Then you will change that also? We should of just let it be how it is...and qualifications are over, so only people who knew that would be able to come, came to qualification, but they probably didn't know that you even changed the race date. So now, people who came to qualification won't be able to come etc., and it just makes more problems...that's just my opinion. I don't really know what to do now...:D
And right after the race we have the next rounds qual, so people won't have time to practice.

Going to be a really hard race. :)

Yes you can, but only if somebody is not coming from your country (Lithuania). Those 3 spots are for Estonian, and there will be 3 Estonian racers, so those spots are taken. From each country max 10 drivers...

Criminal you had a lot of space to overtake me , i dont know how you could smash into that wall.yea i was first time on this track after two weeks so i almost ten laps had to get used to this track and also set, and after that i tryed to push it, but my low skills on this track did their job ;D but i think i had exiting race and very clean indeed.
Criminal stop doing these HL and go race damm it, coz you now too much drive on perfect lines, so if you turn outside the line you are look a [noob] then i can say.....

Sandi, nu nevari vainot tu leiti, standarta situācija, tur parasti visi tā lien back uz trases, un tev jābrauc tā lai tu paliec uz trases, pof cik tuvu.. Tava situācijas izvērtēanas kļūda ;) Vismaz, es nereizi vien esmu tur tāpat rāpies/apdzinis.

I want to complain about this guy - LT - Mindaugas.B . Because of him I crashed and lost lots of my time...He was racing in front of me, and then he crashed. After he had crashed he came fast back on track, almost causing a crash between me and him...I think that he should of be more careful and see if anyone was coming before coming back on the track. I want to know if there will be any penalty...What do others think, should he be more careful or not?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef2Xexe-x4A
This is clearly your own fault. You can see Mindaugas on the track from far away, you see the yellow flag, and he actually isn't obstructing the race line when recovering. You could have gone a lot closer, or lifted a little bit to stick to the line, instead of going that wide.
andRo.
20th April 2009, 06:10
As I already said to, Criminal-Team in skype, I agree with the rest of you guys. You probably have raced more on HL, and that's why you are not use to race with many drivers on the track...You basically only know how to make a good lap...and to make a good lap you have to drive fast with perfect lines + no braking in places where you are not supposed to. And that's what you are trying to do during the race...which you shouldn't, because during the race you should remember you are not the only one on the track and you should analyze what to do in different kind of situations...racing is different than hot lapping!

He said: Ok! Whatever! Just like I thought - it's not worth to drive here!
You blame other driver even if that was your fault. You had a 200 metres long distance from him at 150km/h on 13 metres wide road. And you want to say that you had no chance to brake and overtake him safely? That's so dumb. LT - Mindaugas.B reaction was totally right.
You would did the same!
Karolis[Lt]
20th April 2009, 13:23
You have always be wakeful even if you are last. You had also a yellow flag shown, so you should better had let out the gas pedal and safely pass him.

20th April 2009, 14:18
But in fact, you were on the left half of the road, way off the ideal line, he was not in your way at any point, he was off the racing line.

Criminal - Team, you are 18 years old, but you don't make any sense...I don't think that he tried to mess up your race on purpose. He came out on the side carefully...yes, he could of looked at the blue flag, but you should of braked. I think you make such a big mess about this one crappy thing...it's every days LFS. People crash, people make mistakes...omg, are we supposed to cry now? BTW, remember it's just a game, and you still finished the race.

Live your sorrow out somewhere else, and accept your mistakes.
Kristjan.J
20th April 2009, 15:20
Why would he say sorry for your mistake? He made a mistake and recovered to track, after that there was plenty of room and time for you to brake and go past him without any problems. Right now it's your fault that you crashed and you're complaining on others.

p.s. Padomā pats, viņ tak nevar pilnīgi droi uzrāpties uz trases, nepalaiot visus garām.. viņam bij visi jālai garām ? tāpēc jau ir yellow flag, ka TEV jābūt uzmanīgākam, nevis viņam, bet TEV.
translation. krč, tu vari lagu vainot vai ko, ka tev yellow flag pa vēlu parādījās, bet runa iet par to, ka tu apsūzēji cilvēku par to, kur nav nekādas viņa vainas
It wasn't a qual lap, or a hotlap, that he shouldn't disturb your line in any way. And stop exagerrating, I'll say it once more, yellow flag = that somebody in front has problems, so you ease off abit, and not charge ahead 100% and then put yourself into a wall.
The right thing to do : You see an ufr climbing back onto the track, you lift off just abit, so you can change your line nicely, and that's it.. You overtake how ever you can, loosing a fraction of a second. He Didn't have to sit in grass and wait for all cars to pass him "safely".
p.s. think for yourself, he can't climb back onto track 100% safe, unless he lets the whole grid pass him. That's why there is yellow flag, it means that YOU have to be more carefull, not him, but YOU. You can blame the lag, if the yellow flag showed up "late", but what we are trying to say, you can't blame the guy, that didn't do anything wrong except crash.

If you want something fair, the qualifying has to start at the same time for all 3 countries, which would be ridiculous and unnecessary to organize.
You all know when the race is going to be, the schedule has been there for a while... So you have had plenty of time to practice.

Agreed. It is kinda ridiculous when all countries makes qualification at different time. It is best to make a 3 communities admins meet and decide one date of qualification.
Qualification could be MoE style, like:
-Lithuanians join server and drives session.
-After that, latvian community joins and drives their qual.
- After Latvia, estonians join and drive their qual.
More ideas? :tilt:

Texas, no I don't think you got it! Fuse said that it would be ridiculous to have qualifications at the same time, but you are saying that we should do it. :D
Just stop complaining and arguing...this was supposed to be a cup where we could have some fun races between the Baltic countries, but all we do is argue. And yes, not only you guys, I've also argued so now we just stop and continue racing.
Everything stays the same, there is no use changing the rules and things after the cup has been going for quite long time now. :) And whatever you say, the things won't be changed, unless Kirill.D really wants them to be changed...

Correct, and that's how its going to stay. Some of you guys are just whining for no apparent reason. If you need to practice more, start earlier, you know the combos. :)

28th April 2009, 06:04
yep, everyone seem to have issue about unfairness...i don't see any reason why since we are taking it less seriously than you guys, we are at the back by the points, we are in it because of fun not because to win by any means, we make few laps (to get to know track better) before race and thats about all (most of us) as i see it you lads are screaming into empty bottle here, just sit back and relax :tilt:

So the results will be changed when I get the replay.

haha thats so funny ;DD i see you dont have what to do, just give stupid penalties, ;D lol be happy i dont report your one latvian driver who crashed me in the last corner ,after that collision i had to drive into that damm desert, my suspension was damaged and so on, i lost a lot of positions and he didn`t said even sorry , just driven happy forward.....
andRo.
9th May 2009, 13:16
Whaat? Those are rules, its not just like we give penalties to who ever we want. + They haven't been given yet, the Estonian guy just PM'd me that I should watch replay, which I still don't have.
You can report someone if you want, we will look it through, but if you don't want, then I don't care and why the hell are you posting all that crap then? And this is nothing to do with Latvians, Estonians or anyone else, these are just rules that must be obeyed. Nobody else complained before when they got a penalty, then why do you have some problems?
And maybe you guys should write less crap, and just upload the replay for me? So I can see what is what?
efexas16
9th May 2009, 13:18
i said ZIRGA Galvas on that latvian guy, becouse he pushed me into that damm desert, so for this message i will get +30s :thumb:
andRo.
9th May 2009, 13:21
Well, then why did you say? You know the rules, not chatting allowed. You could of just reported the guy after the race and he would get a penalty or whatever, but don't make penalties for yourself. I know it's hard not to say something when someone crashes you, but it is still your fault that you said it.
And you must of posted it twice, because for each line you post it is +15 sec. Even though I haven't seen the replay yet, so I can't be judging who got what, from what others tell me.
TexasLTU
9th May 2009, 13:25
Well, its ridiculous.
Why Efexas should get a penalty, when that latvian (probably race winner) pushed him away to the bumpy safety zone, and lost few positions. A lot of guys chatted in race, but big part of runners used to have blocked messages, so it doesn't make any difference.
You guys (latvian community) just want to put penalties for LT drivers to make a bigger gap between us in point table (only 10 pts between us). So please, don't make stupid decisions and don't pollute competition image.

WE LATVIANS? I DIDN'T EVEN ****ING NOW THAT THERE ARE ANY PENALTIES! THE GUY WHO COMPLAINED WAS THE ESTONIAN GUY WHO SENT ME A PM! AND HE SAID THAT I MUST GIVE PENALTIES TO THOSE GUYS AND CHANGE THE POINTS! So stfu if you don't know a shit, and all of you stfu with these, Latvians are unfair, Estonians are unfair, Lithuanians are unfair! Everthing is fair, I don't care who wins, let it be Lithuanians, let it be Estonians, let it be Latvians. If I would of care so much, then I would try to participate in this myself!
I don't know how old are you, but you are being such weirdo's blaming it on us. Then why nobody blames Kirill.D for giving penalties to others? Why? Because those are rules, which you Lithuanians don't get! And just when I make the results, even though it wasn't me who complained about the penalties, everyone is saying it's unfair.
The penalties will be given to all the people who chatted, no matter what you will say, so just stfu!
And if you want to complain of some racer, then DO IT! Why do you keep crying, and complaining but not doing anything? Just complain and he will get a penalty to, and stop crying!
You just guys pissed me off, with all this crap.

There's nothing between nations. These penalties were given to Andro by me first. The chat was made during the RACE and there is +15sec penalty for each line as I heard from Kirill. Rules are rules and if you don't follow them you get penalty. Should be clear now.

Great championship, really great! That was amazing to participate and learn new things. Sad, I lost my championship's 1st place only because I passed round 4. But I'm really, really happy with 2nd place in this situation. :)
Great and hard battles, a lot of driven kilometres, discovered new racing secrets and things which I didn't notified before.
About Latvia
Well done drivers! Congratulations Latvia. :thumb:

Pioneeer, don't, you little bastard! :D
Yes, great cup, even though I only came to 2 rounds I guess, and I only finished one of them!
Didn't have time or want to race, don't know why!
Anyway, congrats everyone, and of course, LATVIA! :thumb:

Interesting race. I was in the lead till 30th lap of 40, when I again started to slowing down speed, because of wonder about tyres. Well, Karolis.K used that and overtook me, good for you.
Great car/ track combination for final Baltic Cup's race.

I just came from OLFSL race then, driving the MRT's, I had no feeling in FO8 then. Took some random KY2 set and went off, first 20 minutes my front tyres were hot and I couldn't turn really, and I was going 2 seconds slower than the others in front of me, did pitstop on the 40 minute mark and after that my tyres got better and better. I was going to catch up 4th position but I could have needed 1-2 more laps for that, race ended already. Had a spin also in first laps, don't remember which really, car went really light in a moment and just spun out, I was from 3rd to 10th. For my surprise im first of Estonians overall, I've missed one or two events but still.

Great season that was. Thank you all for coming and racing, that time has been very great.
Congrats to the TOP 3 who did great job and made it there. Latvia indeed was very hard competition to everyone and so was Lithuania. Cya next season/year.

I think next season should have these features:
- Fixed amount of drivers in each nation.
- Longer races
- 2 or 3 admins watching race progress and giving penalties live ( IGTC, MoE style)
- Safety car procedures.

The race is already long and its pointless to race 1 hour. And i think there is really no need safety car. Btw the period between rounds could be shorter.

- Longer races
- Safety car procedures.
For what? What's the point of it? 1 hour long race is enough.

1. - it is already fixed to 10, can't really enforce anything if 10 dont show up form each country, though.
2. - nope, 1h is long already
3. - err. why?
4. - no. defo.

1 hour is enough yes, no need for SC, it's only 1 hour and SC does not make sense at all in there.

Yes, 1 hour is really enough. I would like to admit Karolis that time gap between rounds should be lesser.

Good point, but we have to check other league dates also, as some of the drivers might want to drive there too. So, any date does just not work.

Oh, yes, we understand it, just do how it can be done, just decrease time gap between rounds and everything will be just cool. No needy safety cars and etc, as Texas said.
I personally just want to congrat you, organizers, with a solid organizing. I wasn't active at this league, but I saw that everything was done well.
Wish you work next season (if it will be) as well as you done it this season.
Cheers.

Well, if you want that 4 one nation driver runs against 12 drivers of other nation, ok - let it be...
It is pointless to drive when points are for every position, and number of one nation drivers is just ridiculous. (Last round for example, only 6 lithuanians started and 3 finished, when latvians got 8 or 9, and almost all had finished. Its like football, when 1 team have 11, and "weaker" team can have 22. So, it must be changed somehow IMHO.
Or we could just change point system (I mean less points), to make racers fight for every point, last round prooved that you can have as much as you want drivers per country, and ensure champion title... Indeed lithuanians had a lot of problems at Kyoto, when people DC'ed for various problems, and latvians just "finished to get some points and grab title". So please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Texas, it's the drivers who didn't finish, they chose to not finish and others chose to finish, so make it clear for others that they have to finish to get points, not just DC when they crash just a bit. Please do not complain that other country is just better or something like that, eg. look at us, there were only 3 of us at the start and 2 of us finished. It's not the end of the world, it's just for fun and if you don't like to participate, no one forces you to.

Fail. Lithuania and Estonia used that feature of extra drivers, when can join the race anybody and start from last position (max. 10 people from each country), Latvia was the only one who didn't used this feature in previous rounds, but we did now. So? It is fair, rules are ok.
andRo.
1st June 2009, 19:30
Texas - No offense, but what do you have against Latvia? :D
I don't really see where we didn't obey the rules by taking more drivers! And believe me, I don't give a sh** whether you had more or less drivers. Everyone was able to have 10 drivers, and if you can't get 10 drivers, then we don't care.
There would be only 3 drivers from Latvia in this round, but Pioneer asked more guys to come, so we wouldn't loose the first place etc.
You could have done the same thing, but if you didn't, then too bad!
And stop telling that one country is fair, and the other one isn't etc. It sounds so gay, you guys just keep crying...besides, nobody was forced to come and race, so if you don't like the rules, then don't come!
And no offense, didn't try to be mean, I just say how it is. Let's all be friends...
