Hello everyone and merry Christmas :)

Ive been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and im enjoying it and feel myself getting better and better. So far i havent found much to complain about. However im often in races on same server(s) from time to time and i find i always get blamed and flamed for bumping into someone else even when:
1. I was bumped myself from behind
2. As im new to the game im not that used to steering and oversteer alot and get flamed for that when i crash into some
3.Also get crashed head on by people thats just finished the race ahead of me, ppl should know others wanna finish the race before they can crash into them (if at all)
Thats just my 2 cents :)
But as i said i love the game and will upgrade it as soon as i can :)

Bah, you know, a lot of demo servers are full of nubs. You should try Zion Demo Server(I played a lot on it a year ago, in my demo time), just to see what's a real LFS race, and then... just buy S2 ! You won't be disappointed.:smileypul

yeah ive noticed there's a lot of nubs, im a noob to the game too but at least i dont try to take out everyone

I don´t know about the CTRA, but the other things really makes the S2 worth of buying.

And what comes to the demo server crashing, when I was a demo racer I often just pulled to the side of the road at the start, slowed down so everyone went past. Then 97% of them had crashed in the first turn and you´ll end up finishing in top 3, among with some lucky survivors.
As some1 said before ZION is pretty good for a demo sever, and there was some german one i cant remember.

Ive noticed im doing best when i drive the XF GTI (XFG) car, more control there :) some of the others are way to powerful, i play with Keyboard.

What servers are best to race on? now that i have S2 :)

the RSR server is very good. Called RSRadicals Race Server.

And being a member of the KR team I am obviously going to be biased and give a mention to our server, called KyotoRacing. :)

There is a good GTi server called CTRA 1. You should have a look at this, to see what's going on. You'll see, it's 1000x better than the GTi demo servers.:) But beware, CTRA admins are very strict sometimes, even with newbies. So you should better learn all of the S1 tracks before driving on it.

Keyboard doesn't seem to be a good choise for me, you should better buy a wheel, or if you don't have enough money/place on your desktop, try the mouse.:thumbsup:

Keyboard works good for me, best on the XFG car,havent even tried with mouse yet, got a joystick but not sure if that'll work and at the moment i cant afford a wheel.
Yeah ive seen alot of these servers are strict but ill manage, ill play later tonight :)

gonna practice a bit offline on the new tracks and in new cars
noticed there was one car i tried that it said i didnt have license for, wondered what that meant...and yes im still a noob but a noob wanting to learn :)

you are able to drive all cars, it depends on server which cars you're allowed to drive. OR you were in stupid cruise server and you hadn't bought the car. Stay out of cruise servers :thumb:

Ah... You tried to race on CTRA 3, I guess !:D

Basicly the CTRA servers have a license system : click here (http://www.raceauthority.com/servers.asp) for more informations. To say it shortly, you can race for the momment in CTRA 1, CTRA Single Seater 1, CTRA UF-BR, and CTRA UF-BR. You have to race again and again in these servers to earn points. In a certain amount of points, you earn a new license, which give you the right to race in an other server and/or with other cars, and give you also the right to put another useless and colored userbar in your sig.:wow::bananalla

only in cruise servers you will have to buy cars, not in racing servers :)

CTRA Race 1 has XRG and XFG as an available cars, so if you tried some other car, they're restricted to that server and that's why you couldn't drive it.

Really? I was on there quite a lot this evening and I didn't see you connect. The RSR boys are just out to have fun on their server. Your skill level will not bother them at all, they are a friendly bunch. :thumb:

i think first time i was in it was Blackwood reverse, not sure, was definetly F1 looking cars.could've been another track
Second time i know it was car park tracks.
