Has been a great year on CTRA for me as well.
Had some fantastic racing and managed to get to the top of the international rankings and stay there. (not for long now though. My time at the top is coming to an end. I can't be bothered to run hundreds of races on my own to gather points like he's doing though :p Just wouldn't feel right to me:shrug: Devalues the whole ranking system imo, but thats for a different thread)
So Merry Christmas to all the CTRA drivers, and the UKCT bods who keep the whole show running. Here's wishing you all an even better 2009!

Aye, its been fun :)
I've clocked up exactly 1000 races now with the X-system, and had some of my most enjoyable races ever during that time.
Wins 13%
Podiums 47%
Finishes 90%
Fastest Laps 5%
Yellows 18%
So not very fast, but reasonably consistant. Story of my life ;)
Thanks to all for the racing, see you out there soon :thumb:

Glad you've enjoyed yourself.
Points and Badges serve a really good purpose It gives you something to lose, and that for me is the point of CTRA.
A few things that's always worked for me, don't get hung up on stats and Pb's,don't get into a racing situation without an exit strategy:), and finally show respect to other drivers regardless of how fast or slow they are, and If they break the rules make a point of reporting them ( sorry admin ).
Best wishes to all at CTRA.

We need to get more people to come race in SS3 when Mr. Bentu is not around lol!
Merry Xmas all @ CTRA and a special one to SamH who has put up with me for the whole of 2008

Here's what I did in one year on CTRA :
"You have competed in: 995 races and driven 6,463 laps on the CTRA system.
You do not currently hold any lap records.
Wins:117 11%
Podiums:483 48%
Finishes:843 84%
Fastest Laps: 52 5%
Yellows : 873 13%"
I bought S2 in the end of January 2008. My first ever race was on CTRA 1, @ Blackwood GP, because I wanted to go online immediatly, and this combo was the only one I knew.:) I started in 19th position and then I finished 10th. Then a few days later I tried some others servers but I saw that CTRA's were clearly the best. Then I raced a lot during this year, and a few hours ago, I got my Platinium license, yes, the 24th December.:tilt: So thanks for the Xmas present CTRA, I hope I'll be able to race in 2009, this is not sure for the momment but we'll see. Thanks also for the awersome momments I had on the differents servers. Without you, CTRA, LFS woudn't be as good as it is.:thumb:

I think I'm the first driver to get Platinum by racing only on CTRA Race 1. (Apart from about 200 points total)
... competed in 1,318 races and driven 11,165 laps on the CTRA X-System.
Wins: 607 46%
Podiums: 926 70%
Finishes: 1,166 88%
Fastest Laps: 553 41%
Yellows : 949 8%
1 Lap record.
Quite happy with dat.

82% Yellows! Have you been driving in Reverse :scratchch
Bah ! I remember that he used to have 120 or 130%...:scratchch
Anyway, great progression. That's good to see drivers having 10-15% every day while they used to crash on every corners on every laps...:D:thumb:

No. It'd create bogus stats if they could be reset.

I agree. No tampering with yellow flag ratios. Anyway, if your driving has improved significantly then you should see a gradual drop in your yellow flag ratio to reflect that improvement. It's up to you to do the track work to make it fall.
There should be no shortcuts for anyone (no pun intended) :)
