Ok... my computer just sucks big time, couldnt even hande a bit of lag here.
Disconnected on lap 4-6 and it broke my log (or what you say that..?)

I have a little suggestion.. Could you guys arrange next time please like gt2 and tbo race apart from each other :razz:? My computer just couldnt stand the lag

Hello, hehe :).

I didn't do too well as you can see, when I'm posting 1 hour after the start :D. In qualification I finished about at 9th or 10th place I think. Well, it's not too good in GT2 class, so I just said to myself that'll be only for fun :).

In race I put R3s on both front & rear. I don't know what used the others GT2 drivers, but my times wasn't too good :(. My expectation was confirmed, I did not have too good chances to get good positions, so now I really felt like I'm racing only for fun, but I tried to do not cause any problems, of course.

I went for a pitstop to change to R2s on front. I did so and I was a little faster, but not too much. After some 20-30 laps, maybe more happenned that I hitted wall in one part of the track and I found myself bored because of I'm not doing good :razz:. So I slowly got back on the road, went to pits, stopped in garage, turned off the engine and left the server hehe :D. Maybe next time.

Before I hitted the wall it was fun, thanks everyone and sorry if I caused any problems.

What's up with synthasite? I've just booted up the computer, and everything was okay for about 2 minutes, but now I keep getting 'An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.' or 'The service is not available. Please try again later.' LFS Remote is working, but I don't get the great commentry!

Well that was, um, interesting.

First hour of the race was fantastic. Had some fantastic battles with Messes Novak and the guy in the Top Gear FZR. TBOs were being very good - vast majority being very predictable and easy to pass.

Pit stop went fine, no problems there. And then, wow did it go wrong!

Lap 56 something happened at T1 (investigate please), I was trying to avoid hitting about 2 cars whilst trying not to hit Sal who was lapping me. As I'm male that didn't go too well.

Then, on about lap 70, I accelerated out of T1 and just span right onto the kerb of the right kink of the chicane. I was like WTF how did that happen and kinda in shock. Then I saw about 5 TBO cars coming screaming out of T1 towards me. SHIT. I accelerated as fast as I could but there was epic turbo lag so I basically didnt move at all and got smashed into by [CR] and a couple of others. Very Very sorry for that. Found that my Left Rear had popped and so had to do an entire lap back to the pits to fix it. That put me from 5th to 6th a lap down on 5th. Of course I came tearing down to T3 at 140 mph completely forgetting I had a flat tyre, until I hit the brakes. Buggar. Anyhow, then I just decided to push and ended up with a pretty good result.

Ty to Joe, Falke, Timo and Bambo for doing what you all did, thanks to all for some good racing and especially to the vast majority of the TBO cars for being excellent backmarkers. And sorry to the Serbian dude who got me on one side of him and Novak the other side of him as we came out of the chicane :D

We'll maybe have a NY event too if that suits.

He hit me 4 times because he had crashed into every single TBO, he even landed on his roof once. I'd say BAN! :shrug:

I had a good race further, I had to pit because of a lag hit with Stefan. Some time later i had a flat tire on left front, luckely at pit entry. I also spinned a couple of times, and got a (what i think wasnt right) drive through penalty.

I had a lot of fun during the first half of the race. But I was rather unlucky while lapping the TBO's. Usually I approached them when they could not move away so I had to break a lot (Kudos to the drivers - I rarely had a situation where I didn't know what you're going to do). This brought Jack always back and I somehow couldn't pass him until his pitstop.

My pitstop was hilarious in the aspect that I managed to spin on the entry - then forgot to change tyres so I had to pit a second time. I kinda settled for 7th place until I realised that Jack was coming closer each lap. Sadly his tyre popped so there was no duel at the end.

I'm also terribly sorry for bumping a TBO off track. I thought you would stay on the inside but you moved outside and I changed my line as well but I was too fast.
I'm also sorry for bumping Alfons off the track. I was under the impression that you saw the blue flag but you closed the gap and I kinda had to squeeze through. Here as well: I'm very sorry.

i got crashed even before T1, dropping me back to 3rd last in the first lap lol
but managed to get the lead again after around 15 laps i think

from then on it was just fighting the pain in my wrist :)

Yeah the TBO drivers where very kind, especcially one of the Meh drivers. :P

i was drving right behind him on the straight to get into the slipstream, he signalled left but he gave me so much room that he was driving on the grass. LOL

i dont know what lap, but he crashed like 10 times :shrug:

At first I want to thank for this event all the NDR Team... For my race was great I was 4th from the beginning but at the 65 lap someone hit me at t2 and I was on my roof :D I had joined to race once again and do 26 more laps but that is not importand... ;) That was presure for me to take part of this event... thx guys once again. :)

So I filled up with another 80%, changed the tyres and I managed to jump 1 or 2 people this way (I think) but then at around 1h10 mins into the race I downshifted to 1st instead of 2nd so the rears locked and I spun. I was then hit from the side which rolled me :(. So I had to tele-pit and then push like hell to try and make up for it. I don't know where I'll end up when the results are calculated but I'll go for around 6th place.

Yah - thanks for the good race.

You'll be somewhere around me I think. Your 1-lap penalty equals the lap I lost with my puncture. Results will be done by Monday at the latest I hope. Joe wrote lots of stuff down so hopefully it wont take too long to do :thumbsup:

1st off Welldone Admin/Drivers that was a good Race.Hope i wasn't lagging to much for you guys.Dinner it wasn't even breakfast over here yet lol.

Had a great start moved up from 8th on the grid to 4th by the straight.
Then i noticed that there was some really eager guys behind me so i thought stick to the race plan and let them go slipped down to 11th but that wasn't in the plan.

tried to stay clean and clear of trouble and gain on the guys ahead but every time i did i would get a tbo in the wrong spot wd to them all in all they where great,but didnt make 1 mistake the whole race and with alot of luck got to 4th.

about 10 laps to go i noticed my right front was about to pop i had a 30sec lead over 5th so what the hell i come in for some new boots,but when i came out i noticed that 5th was only 2 sec behind and he started to push so had to work to stay ahead of him but heldout for 4th in my first Enduro and first Euro Race (besides random server action)you guys r good,had a blast looking forward to some more in the future.:thumb:

It'll have all the tables, but I doubt I'll do the graphs straightaway. I might go for them if I can aggregate all the discos and specs for the graph text file.

I'll ignore all post race penalties until after I finish the aggregation process.

In my opinion some drivers were very dangerous in GT2...
I drifted a lot of times with my XRT because some FXR pushed me... Even in pits a GT2 pushed us :D
In GTCC it was really cleaner and even harder to the GTRs because they had 500hp!
But since it was a "fun event" I am not going to complain about anyone ;)

Provisional resutls are up. They're so provisional, I haven't done any doctoring to adjust these files after LFSStats said, "Here they are !"

I'll be working this weekend at aggregating where needed and such, to get them ASAP. Probably made official Tuesday sometime at the latest.

Yes, this is just the LFSStats from the race replay. We'll be adding people in when they timed out or crashed or whatever soon. They're not official results :thumbsup:

I was in one of the last places in all categories like fastest splits, best possible laptimes and top speed etc. but still came 4th in the class. Shows that consistency is worth more than raw speed in 2 hour races. :tilt:

Hypothraxer, I guess the 3id car had less blue flags then you since they were leading almost the whole time. They just aren't displayed since they got 0 blue flags. :p

Given my car was handling as well as a pig, I had no choice. :tilt:

Never ever ever ever am I changing the steering on a setup because boothy uses a PS3 controller. What was a nice handling race set was turned into an absolute pig. :schwitz:

Also GT2 drivers deciding to take to the grass and punting me off on the pit straight instead of the outside line... come on! God almighty, I don't just vanish! Same with the guy that spun me in the final turn, and then ACCELERATED into my side as I was 90 degrees to the left. :schwitz: I didn't really care after that. :tilt: The TBO/GT2 corner speed was a little too different, perhaps XFR/UFR would have been better, but that is for another day.


No idea what happened into turn one, got a bit... squeezed as I couldn't go more left as DeSouza's lightening XRT was there...

Oh my bloody goodness, n23 really has no clue. He was the one that turned me around on lap 10, and 51minutesish in. Even if he wanted to pass on the right there was still enough room without hitting me into a wall costing me a lap of repairs, and fecking heck the final turn crash. :really:

Admins might like to look at both incidents and decide on his future in NDR events. :(

I was probably the one that hitted you in the pits (wanted to appologize for it yesterday on the server, but didn't knew which team it was), I was changing ARB and stuff, and wasn't concentrating on the track. Sorry for that. As far as I could see it didn't really affect ur stop though...:expressio

J@tko for failing with his puncture then deciding to turn his car so that it was perpendicular to the track! :really: :razz: Then the [TBF] taking out the [CR] on the same lap at the other end of the straight... :really:

Also lap 61, approx 1hr 31min, the [FRO] car overtakes me, but then needlessly moves across to the right hand side of the track and forces me off the road. :shrug:

Sorry to anyone I held up during my stint, its hard to get out of the way once your committed to a turn and there's only one line, but the GT3 cars do catch up very quickly in some parts and slowly in others meaning its difficult to judge when to move aside.

Thanks for race, pity that we couldn't be closer to the front and amongst the action but for incidents (including a noob error with the pit speed for me :x) and a noob who decides to pander to his TMs wishes without even testing them :tilt: we'd have been higher.

Looking forward to the next one! :nod: (Perhaps in a GT3 - can we do a swap so that the GT3 drivers get a taste of being a slow TBO? :D)

Shame it happened but was funny though, I was desperately trying to point the car in the right direction while spinning at the grass. I managed, but the car was going too fast, I feared I would play bowling in T1 with Zeug's RB4 :schwitz: but it all went fairly well in the end.

The TBOs were all packed for the first laps, wich made things interesting. I made some passes and got passed a couple of times as well. After the field spread a little, there was two FXOs ahead - fastwalker and predrag, wich I couldn't bother because they were so much faster - and Zeug on my arse. For some good ~40 minutes my race consisted in cursing his RB4 because I couldn't pull away. Eventually Salama came and passed us both at the same time in a small traffic jam involving GTRs as well.

The first hour ended, and people began to make pitstops. As I started with 100% fuel (had no idea how much I would use so filled it) I decided to keep on track for a few more minutes, considering I wouldn't need refuelling and the tyres were ok. In fact, I think that gave me a considerable advantage as the track was cleaner and I could push a little harder. Well the car was felling so good I ended up pitting only with 30min left and would even try to cover the full race without pitting if it was allowed. I was second at the time.

Since I had to pit, I changed the tyres to be on the safe side. I thought I had a considerable gap to the third (Adam) to make a full pit stop and stuff and try some battle for forth or maybe third place. What surprised me is that I was still in second place when I left the pits, 20s ahead of Adam! All I had to do is keep driving untill the checkered flag and that's what I did. :D Congrats to fastwalker for the convincing win... and the same for the 3id guys.

On a side note, I'd like to compliment the GTRs drivers. I had a few not so nice moments while being lapped, but you were cleaner than I expected, wich is always good. A special one to Bont and Niall, that apart from going very fast (wich is scary at times :D), were always respectful and knew exactly what their car and mine were capable of doing.

But there's a bad side as well. The Panasonic FXR (I think it's the same one you guys are complaining), and specially Kenneth for me. :( Very ruthless everytime, dive bombing everywhere when there was no room, pushing me out of the racing line by contact. And that nasty block exactly at my T3 braking point, what were you thinking? :/ Absolutely unnecessary. I don't really care if you were battling for the win with your super fast FZR, I have a race myself and you got to realize that! You can't go far with that attitude, and I hope you take this as an advice. :thumb:

Oh and thanks for the organizers, you did a very good job.

I just cleaned up a few posts in this tread for being way offtopic, and possibly leading down a slippery slope to argument hell. I do not wish this sort of behavior to be in this section, as it will not only reflect badly upon yourselves, but on the repuration of New Dimension Racing. It's not very likely, but continuation of such behaviour could be considered a breach of parts of the NDR Sporting Code and could lead to penalties from NDR.

But I digress.

Still working on aggregating results. I'll post what I have done tommorow afternoon, but the two or so teams that pitted/discoed and rejoined multiple times will take some extra time.

I will post penalties in the next 48 hours.

For the incident in the Race Session between the cars driven by Salaneuvos and boothy at approximately 1:31:21 into the replay:

Salaneuvos overtakes boothy between turns 8 and 9, and makes contact with boothy, sending boothy into a spin. This incident is a combiation of Salaneuvos not turning as much as might be expected for the slight bend, and boothy turning to make the bend. This incident is deemed to be no fault to either driver, but both are being issued a WARNING to remember principles of racing room and overtaking.

For the incident in the Race Session between the cars driven by AdamLFS and briquedejus at approximately 1:45:38 into the replay:

Heading into Turn 5, briquedejus contacts AdamLFS in the rear under braking. Ample braking room was given, and briquedejus made an effort to stop contact but contact and a spin-out still occured. This is deemed a racing incident.

For the incidents involving n23, at various points in the race:

Driver n23 was found to have had a general lack of respect for other racers, failure to provide reasonable racing room, caused several avoidable incidents, and did not exercise proper overtaking when overtaking for position or lapping cars. The driver was also found to have intentionally braked just past split 1 on the backstretch at around the 1:31 mark, causing an incident with two other cars.

This behaviour is not tolerated at New Dimension Racing. It reflects poorly on our organization, and also on Live for Speed in general. Careless behaviour is not what LFS is about, and can hinder the enjoyment and races of competitors. In accordance with this, the penalty for n23 is as follows:

- Exclusion from race results.
- Eighteen (18) month Ban from all New Dimension Racing supported events.
- Following the end of the ban, a further six (6) month New Dimension Racing Probation.
