S1 Servers

I don't normal play on S1 servers as never anyone around as all got S2 but me and a friend tried to host servers but we could never connect to each other.
Worked before. Anyone had these problems?
I have no firewall installed.

...or if possible, to upgrade to S2. I don't know if S1 license is any good for online racing anymore. No one to race with?

Do the S1 hosts even show when you search for S2 hosts? Or are those two separate things?

on S2, i know you can choose between S1 and S2, so maybe they are 2 differernt things?
