I used to run LFS s1 on another computer; now I'm on a 800mghz pIII with 256 meg ram 16 mb video card; can I still run s1 on this comp?

And if so, can someone remind me where to download it?

Well, you will be able to run it, but I don't know if you'll be happy. That's really low spec and you won't be able to (smoothly) race against the AI.

Also, what download do you want? The regular S2 Alpha download can be found at www.liveforspeed.net. You can still use your S1 license on it, so you get all the updated tracks, cars and physics, but just the ones that were also there in the old S1.

thats all I needed. I'll stick to the game on my other computers, thanks. I hate playing games when my system confines them.

I can dl the S2 and use my S1 key to play all the S1 tracks and cars, off the S2 file?

FWIW, I left the old version S1 H on my Celeron 667, 11 mb onboard, and 512 mb ram for my 5 yr old to thrash around in. It runs pretty smooth. The new S1 version (with S2 physics) doesn't run at all on it. Also, if you unlock S1, you will be stuck offline. There are 2 or 3 servers for S1, but no one is there. The old S1 version won't work with S1 content unlocked from S2 version online.
