Haze effect

What is this, is it better on or off?

The performance impact is negligible, so turn it on. To see the effect, go somewhere with a long straight that has some objects in the background (BL straight should do fine). Then switch it on/off. You'll see that the far objects will be covered in a slight haze (very light "fog", if you don't know what haze is *g*), which makes the overall picture look much more real IMO.

If your video card is not a dinosaur you should be able to use the haze effect and it may improve performance slightly.
