Ok so a couple of nights ago i was playing LFS online and all of a sudden i had no control of car. When i pressed on the gas and let off the car continued to accelerate. Same as when i turn, i'll turn right and try and turn back left and it will stay going right. I dont know what caused this. I checked for virus and ran 2 scans and no results of a virus. Also another thing i went through the steps to fix lag....it helped a little bit. Im running a straight cord to my router from my PC and i have my firewall on my router to low. And i allowed the ports for LFS. I know this is a lot and please im a noob, dont come in here and Flame this thread i need a little bit of help. Im fimiliar with changing settings on my router and firewall if needed. Thanks-DRiFT_KiD..=)
EDIT: P.S.-Also i tryed to reinstall LFS to see if i could fix the problem and that didnt work.
Also i redownloaded it and tried going online....it said Server is S2 or something like that thanks for your help =)

Were you accidentally spectating another car?
Because the network configuration has absolutely no influence on your local car control. If anything it would be a hardware fault or driver conflict, but tbh I think my first suggestion is the most likely one.

tbh, it sounds like a knackered controller or knackered controller drivers. But considering that we don't know what you use that's a little hard to assume...
You also might find that you get more help if you give your threads a better subject, and you space out your post a tad.

Why two threads?

(This one is in the correct section, though. So maybe merge the linked thread with this one?)

I had sort of the same problems, until i discovered that my PC only had USB1.1 ports. They are too slow. I installed a fresh USB2.0 PCI card and all works fine now. So be shure your PC has USB2.0 ports for your wheel.
