Put them to LFS/data/skins or LFS/data/skins_dds if they are .dds format, then in LFS in player options click on skin name (smth like HEL_BF1_NH)

yep then when you go to the options screen under driver you can choose your helmet skin by clicking helmet name under the model of your driver and then selecting which helmet skin you want to use.
