What should I put in the CTRL-F9 textbox to be able to restart from the wheel?
Tried a few variants but nothing works... :)

Simular Q :
I was wondering if there is a way to bind F9 / F10 / F12 to the "4 in one" button on DFP ?

"4 in 1"-button? you mean the POV thingy on the left? or just how you can bind 4 keys to 1. if that's the case, use the profiler, create some keystroke command for F9, F10 etc and then choose "add cycling command".
@BulliT: you need the logitech profiler or a similar tool to bind Shift+R to your wheel

no not anymore, scawen added so that you can bind CTRL-F9 to CTRL-F12 to buttons on your wheel in the Q patch.
try /restart
that works only when you are hotlapping or on a local server. not on the internet.

i no u bind them (or i think you do) but how do you do that?
P.s. step by step guide useful :D

I believe you can only put text-commands under ctrl f9-f12 , so every command that you can type into a text box. And there is no 'vote restart' text-command so it's not possible to put that under a ctrl key.
shift-r via the profiler is still the way to go for this particular function.
If scawen can add a vote-restart text command, you could put it on a button using LFS.

So you know how to put commands under ctrl f9-f12?
When you have done that, go to the Controls options screen, click Buttons 2 and assign a button to any of the ctrl F9-F12 keys.

Does typing /restart not vote?
For shows I thought it might be nice to map say Shift-G to a button, so if there was an 'admin' command for shift then perhaps it would help shift-r/s/g/x etc.

That would be a no too. How do you put commans under ctrl f9-f12?
I get all the f1-f8 etc.
Just wondering as its a pain to keep having to look at keyboard for messages.
Thanks

You put commands on ctrl+F9-F12 in the same place as F1-F8. Then, if you want them on your wheel, you map the relevent Ctrl+Fx in the controls _> buttons 2 menu.

It doesn't vote, it only works in singleplayer or in hotlapping.

Still noe following *hides with shame* if i go to options to where you set F1-F8 it only goes as high as F8 in both normal and the ctrl+. Where do you find them :scratchch
Can you set these to text?
And in the control and buttons not seeing anything to do with setting these to my wheel.

Maybe my memory is corrupted :p
*Loads LFS*
Yup. As I thought: Options -> Game -> Ctrl+ -> F9-F12. Type in /restart. Then in Options -> Controls -> Buttons2 you set a wheel button to it.
This only works in Patch Q btw.
