Hi all - my PC has a new motherboard, RAM and CPU. My graphics card is still the 8800GTS which I've been using fine.
Anyway, I tried a replay to see what the speed was like but I got this error (below). Any ideas please?

Try a fresh install of LFS? Maybe something got messed up with it?

Have to admit NOT reinstalling LFS. I'd have thought it would just 'work' from the install dir.
If I reinstall, is there any way to backup all my preferences, settings, etc...?

Have you plugged the harddrive into the new motherboard without formatting and re-installing the operating system?

The drive LFS was installed to isn't the boot drive. Its a seperate SATA drive where I keep all my data, pics, apps, etc.
But WinXP has been reinstalled to the boot drive yes.

Ah ok, just wondering.
I normally backup the skins folders, setups, scripts (sometimes dds), spr and mpr folders.
There is probably more buts thats all I do, cfg file might be worths saving as well.

Have you tried to UNLOCK S2 again? It's very probable that your licence has dropped to DEMO on a new mobo/CPU config.

You can't even start S2 content replays if you're in the demo.

After changing hardware, LFS re-locks itself.
delete misc/f*.xyz files and re-unlock LFS.

Just copy the data folder to the new LFS folder then.

Well waddyaknow - S2 wasn't unlocked :) Erm, slightly blushing here, but sorted now as I unlocked it and the cars are being displayed. Thanks all :x:thumbsup:
