When using the editor, is it possible to add a feature that allows you to type in the angle of the object you want to place, as trying to use the slider to select a 45 or 90 deg angle is a pain.

Unless of course someone has found a technique to overcome this.

I'm currently at work so I can't try it out, but doesn't right clicking the angle slider work?

Yes right clicking with the mouse on the angle slider works. You can input the value directly.
