Framerate issues with dual monitors?

Hey, I've had LFS since it first came out and have never really had any framerate issues. When I got my ATI radeon 9800 pro, I maxed out the framerate constantly, but when I tryed the game out on my new 20.1" monitor I get about 17 FPS. I have a 17" in a dual monitor setup, but I'm not using it for the game and even tried disabling it while I play. I've also tried lowering resolution and detail settings and my framerate never gets any better. My drivers are up to date.... I can't figure out what's going on.... any suggestions?

My drivers are up to date.... I can't figure out what's going on....The latest ATi drivers have a massive issue with LFS. We're waiting for Catalyst 6.2 for a fix.

Not only the latest but also 5.12 and 5.13 versions. 5.11 should work ok. And that driver frame rate issue should affect only if you're using dual core processor.

What about dual processors? Only dual core? I have dual Xeons...Thanks, though, I'll try to find that older driver.

Reverting to 5.11 fixed the problem, thanks! What the hell is ATI doing?
