View Full Version : Editing of spr-files: cutting out of best lap possible?

Hi everyone,

probably a "typical newbie question" about singleplayer replays, but I have this problem :scratchch:

when driving in hotlap mode, I usually go for 10 laps or more (not recommended for WR, I know, but I'm a newbie anyway :))... so ... often lap 9 or 10 will be my new personal best. Problem is, when pressing "1" to save the replay, I will get a .spr file with ALL laps 1-10... Whenever I want to watch my best lap, I have to see all other laps (in 16x faster mode of course, but still it's somewhat annoying).

Is there any possibility to edit the spr-files and cut out all "unnecessary" laps? Or maybe tell the program just to save the last lap?

Thanks a lot for your help guys!
And an even greater thanks to the developers of this unique piece of software!!

Unfortunately you cannot do anything about it. Only thing that comes to my mind is to make a movie of the last lap. Download this program http://www.fraps.com (http://www.fraps.com/)

u mean getting rid of unecessary rubber?
if so, this would be close to cheating :p

well scrape off the rubber and viola, the car is 10 kgs lighter :tilt:

{just a joke... don't know if it works this way, but it surely makes the diameter of the tyre smaller}
