Yes. Just to make clear, in normal conditions points are distributed as...

55 for the winner,
49 for runner up,
43 for eliminated semifinalist with best time,
39 for the other eliminated semifinalist,
33 for the driver eliminated in round2 with best time,
30 ...
28 ...
26 for the driver eliminated in round2 with worst time,
23 for the driver eliminated in round1 with best time,
22 .
21 .
20 .
19 .
18 .
17 .
16 for the driver eliminated in round1 with worst time,
5 for the eliminated drivers in qualify, and that showed up on-time.

Plus 5 points for pole-position and 5 points for overall best lap.

We had a thunderstorm around here friday and Saturday. I dont know what it is in english, but not snow or rain, but these little ice-balls (size of golfballs) rained down and we lost electricity, cars are f*ucked up cos of the damn iceballs and everything else on our yard is bashed.

Oh, Taha DID win this 4th event, by 1 second. I don't know why the system said it was Niko, but you can check the times on the results sheet and confirm Taha's victory - congrats! That's an one event one win. :thumb:

Niko the penalty boy made a big jump from 16th place to 7th, but would be in 3rd if he didn't have any penalties. Matthew is going up as well, but more slowly.

The table with the stats will be redone, don't worry. I'm just not having ANY time these days. Gotta go now, need to wake up in 5 hours... :schwitz:

There is a way for you and Nolan to tie. And if it does maybe we will make a special tie breaker event only for you two to battle on... I've kinda been hoping for a tie here tbh. Would be spectacular.

So Kasper, you need to get pole position (no pressure), and fastest lap during all of the event and make it to the finals with Nolan as your competition. And Nolan, you need to beat Kasper in the finals and win the event. If my calculations are correct this would lead to a tie.

My ideas for a tie breaker would be a special event with the tied participants where they battle it out for a match on each of the five tracks. Same rules as the typical finals, 4 races per match, no pass to win, lowest combined time of each match adds a point to their championship standings, therefore breaking the tie!

Hmm, I just noticed some of the points given in the event 1 are different than this (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=885075#post885075). Not too much really, maybe one/two points more/less for a few competitors. Like Zeug should have 28 instead of 27...

Well after further inspection that was the only problem. :shy:

I was worried about Jakub's points as well because it doesn't make sense to have 25 points, but that was due to system problems (he was eliminated when he shouldn't, so was given points).

So Zeug has received the outrageous amount of 1 point, and everything is fine now.

Note2: In case you missed something with all those website problems and stuff, you get 15 points for being in all events, 10 for being in four events, 5 for being in three events, and that's it.

12th. Not bad for being kicked out of in the first round and missing one race due to no Internet connection. I've actually started to be calmer towards the last race so next time the goal is to make it more times into the second round.

:) It really has an effect... I remember the first H2H events, my races against Taha lol. I was so nervous I couldn't steer smoothly, and I think the same happened to him. Maybe not for those more experienced, but for me this kind of racing really made a difference when it comes to handling the pressure.

You don't remember how I was? My heart was beating soooooooo damn fasttttttttt and on top of that that was the begining of my racing career! So imagin! All the pressure was on ME! Lol. But indeed it did help me deal with the pressure. I'm much more calm now even though I do have that little bit of pressure that I feel but if there wasn't any I wouldn't be trying so I have my healthy dose of stress/pressure but not more anymore. :P

I know it, all this shaking and nerves its an amazing feeling and thats something I am very happy to get after my races... You have no idea how shaky I was when I made it to the Semi-Finals in Event 5. I knew that I'd probably be against Taha if he made it and I was soo in the groove - until the system issues, which I think we did well to keep it all going fairly smoothly but it got me out of the groove I was in...
