Hello everyone. I have plan to share(soon) my new tourney system, what i have done.

So before sharing, maybe YOU have any ideas, what can do better, what's wrong, something new..etc.

So if you have time, test it as u can. I hope there aren't any bugs, but i can't tell that there aren't any bugs :/

Administration page: http://priits.tavaline.info/LFS/turniir/admin.php password is 'admin', upload ur replays or whatever, just do something :) Make new tourney(Better named your forum username, then i know who made this tourney...)

Script: http://priits.tavaline.info/LFS/turniir/index.php Everywhere try to click race name/driver names/team names to open some information etc..


Remember, soon it's FREEWARE :)

Aah, BIG THANKS to Sracer, because he made 4 default skins, and some translation work(Finnish)...thanks to Freak(German), Phlos(French) and Holycow(Norweigan).
BTW, if u wan't see see your own language and you're ready to translate, contact me by MSN(priitsaarts@hot.ee).

UPDATES 18.08.2005 -
*Now you can add your MPR qualification replay(not neccessary) and give points like race results;) If qualification added, then qualification is showed in race results page.
*Country flags
*Add DNF racers into race

EDIT: I removed other languages, because it's pointless to update step by step every file ;)

I have tried this and cant see any problems.. nor can i think of any new ideas for it... how about the ability to get a results stats from the uploaded replay? (just taking some wild stabs in the dark here)

I've had a play around, and its some nice work priits :Handshake

The only "nicity" I can think that is missing, is perhaps some graph outputs - but its probably not needed :D

Bug: in race details racers are ordered by total time, not taking into account laps completed. Also it would make sense to configure point system for each tournament, incl. possibility to give points for pole position and fastest lap, and to exclude worst results from total points.

Also i'd like to see possibilty to manually add DNF racers, as these are not in MPR.

Misko, i hope you can choose now your own country and your antarctican friends. Had lucky day and i got 240 countries.

hackerx, updated, now you can delete racers too. I was busy today and at now this is only english(tomorrow multilanguage). I plan to do this thing into qualification section too.

More suggestions:

- link to download replay of each race

- in each racer a link to your profile

- more details of each racer (like email, interests,age...)

- more clean skins (gray color and white..small fonts,...)

- more statistics of the race like best lap, graphics....

So what about the cookie system where guests can choose skin, language and settings.

Just make it more user-friendly. I personally would like the admin panel would be in these fcking races panel. Then some ADD RACE button.

it's not really wrong, but it is odd to use "Qualifizierung" for that. :)

XOOPS is a portal system like PHPNuke.

The original code, developed by prits, is ported to use with Xoops.

The final code comming..
