Hello, when I try to start the game I get this message and I don't know what I have to do.
I don't know if it is usefull, but in the deb file says this:
LFS : 0.5P2
timer resolution 1 ms
read config
get command line
preinit d3d
number of adapters : 1
adapter 0 : no valid modes
LFS : Could not detect any suitable screen modes
What I have to do to have a properly adapter?
Thanks

Andreusf, Id attempt a reinstall of the graphics driver, monitor driver and perhaps also directx if I were you... I think this has helped a few others with the same problem.

I had that once ..
Try starting another 3d application (game) and then back to lfs.
it helped for me, believe it or not.

Try checking this:
Make sure hardware acceleration is set to 'full"
- go to your display properties
- click settings / advanced
- Select the troubleshooting tab.
- Set hardware acceleration fo 'full'.
If some or any of your card's features are disabled, the game no worky.
Depending on what card you have, maybe.

what would running dxdiag do? its only a diagnostics tool to look at your settings?
unless there is something in the settings that is not letting him
(btw tristan, it seems odd that every so often the show signature box gets unchecked.. odd [cause i just checked mine])
