he install patch z but said no to restarting lfs now it wont start up any ideas????? cheers

Does it give him a error message?
Or what else happens when u try to run the lfs.exe?
btw why didnt he post here?
and why cant you write in a bit better english (youre from england so..)

kk he dowloaded again and manualy installed from patch z but still no luck when he tries to play from profiler it says cannot load font....

Jesus, I see people from all over the world on LFS, and it's funny to see someone from England, who can't actually speak proper English, anyway re-install patch Y into a seperate folder and once you connect to multiplayer it should manually download patch Z.

Go to 'My Documents', make a new folder, named LFS Patch Y or whatever you like, go to lfs.net download lfs again, unlock it with your S2 username and password, once you try and display hosts, it should download patch Z.

Go to My Documents, make a new folder named 'New LFS' save it to there and run it, and do what I said in my previous post.

How about downloading the full version of lfs 0.5z?

Is your friend using Vista? If so it seems that you have to run LFS as administrator.
