Replays

Guys,

I'm trying to file a report but before i do so I need to look at the replay - I've got the MPR file downloaded but I have no idea how to view it.

Can anyone help?

Go onto your main menu on LFS, click replays then the replay that you've saved :thumbsup:

Hi Joe,

The easiest way is to associate the .mpr extension to your LFS executable.

If you double click the .mpr file you'll get a box titled "Windows", and saying "Windows cannot open this file:"

Choose the "Select the program from a list" option.

In the next dialog, select LFS if it is there, if not browse to wherever you installed LFS, select the file LFS.exe, make sure you've got the "Always use the selected program..." checkbox ticked, hit OK.

Now you can double click any mpr file and LFS will open and load and start it. If LFS is already open and at a menu screen it will load and start it. If it's in game it won't though.

Funny thing is that I am pretty sure that I have got the right replay but I am not in it! Have I just made a mistake??

Probably, yes :) But don't worry, though, it happens a lot.That's why it's recommended to actually review the replay yourself first, before you submit it. Try downloading the replay of the race before and after the one you downloaded, to see if that's the one you want. You can do this on the CTRA site if I'm not mistaken.
