I'd suggest fixing it.

Step 1 taken care of.

Step 2 check to see whats jamming it, and remove it leaving the pedal unjamed. Not much else anyone can do unless we know whats jamming it.

p.s. No Bob Marely jokes about jamming please, thats my area :D

That's what I was about to say, recalibrate, because I doubt the actual pedal is jammed. I have a G25 and it looks hard to jam the pedal, so if it was the pedal you would easily see what the problem was. :D

Also, if you only got/installed the wheel maybe the invert axis thing is selected? :scratchch
