A shame that there will be no ZT team this time, so we cant say we won them all :/

Well, actually we won only one in the overally ranking, but we always won in the GTI :D

According to Mika, the organizer for the stream, they will have 500 slots with an option for more.

I think that should be enough, or not? Well Hoellsen you surely know how many poeple look at such a stream, cause you where involved in the moderation of the ESL finals. Can you tell us any numbers from there?

I will definitely be watching this stream as well. The Endurance League races are always well organized and have great racing. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Kudos to you guys for pushing the limits and really making a virtual league that has the class and drama of a real league.

Technical difficulties here .
From Winamp: sound ok, but scrambled/blurry video; from Zuschauen mit ActiveX-Plugin (Nur Microsoft Internet Explorer) no LFS, only a music show or something...

Edit: Messed with options, now ok; Removed Allow hardware video overlay from Video options :scratchch

I have a technical question ... :)

I want to watch the race, with winamp, but it isnt shows the video. I can hear, the voice (but its german ... :S).
Winamp can recognize the video's data (NSV:445kpbs, VP62 384x256@25fps ~ 384 kpbs), but nothing.
As I know, NSV is a special nullsoft codec, so can't be the codec miss.

Please help me :)

The starting grid for tomorrow.

Horci
13th January 2006, 20:24
Nothing changed. I tried every hardware settings, but nothing.
(Only I can see a Nullsoft icon, under this, a progressbar. The bar, is full, so its not buffering... So i don't have purple window, and others like this ... )

Other fact. I tried some Online TV from winamp's homepage, and its correct.
(I asked one of my friend, and he have same problem)
Maybe some problem with the broadcast?

the_angry_angel

Hi Guys,

Sorry, for this late answer but i had some problems with my email reply from this Page stupid greylisting on our mailserver :)

So i would give you for tomorrow some examples for fixing the problem with the Winamp-Videostream:

First try and install the full/pro Version of the latest Winamp Version the free Winamp 5.12 Full Version can you find at this Link:
www.winamp.com/player/full.php

A other Problem sometimes with older Full Version could be that link:
So try alternative at your Playlist @ Winamp those Shortcut "Crtl + L"
And at this to links into your Winamp Playlist:
http://radio.gamer-fm.de:9200/listen.pls
org
http://radio.gamer-fm.de:9200/;stream.nsv

Ok this this is Eventstream ist not online right now so only for testing you can try to connect to our Mainvideostream @
http://radio.gamer-fm.de:9500/listen.pls
or
http://radio.gamer-fm.de:9500/;stream.nsv

So the last Chance after those ways didn`t work you can try it via your Internet Explorer under that link: http://www.gamer-fm.de/v4/index.php/streams?id=4
Try the bottom link!
Sorry for nice Firefox/Mozilla User we are still working to made a stable Popup Window like under IE for you to

Don't know why, the LFS video had codec problem, but the online TVs worked fine (same codec ...)

I downloaded, the 5.12 Bundle version (before I had 5.01), and I installed it in full... So, it works :)

Congratulations to all teams! 24 hours is a real challenge over and over again! :)

There were so many people actively involved again, it's just awesome! And the whole thing all around it (if you get up and go get it!) brings you very near to the race, the tracker, the streams, the interviews and all that kind of stuff :D

it's nice to see LFS moving beyond simple 'arrive and drive' racing, into a more organised and exciting form. none of this is new in itself (i might be wrong about the live video stream, for LFS anyway)

it's all better covered than 99% of all other motorsport, i can see a LFS channel starting on TV soon:D

you've raised the bar, for sim-racing, for endurance racing and for LFS

well done to all involved:thumb:

i hope this is just a sign of more good things to come!

hello people,

great racing... all of you!!!

i watched basically all and i must say that i´m overwhelmed with
your average speed. keeping this pace for 24h is unbelievable.

also this was the best covered sim event i ever had the pleasure
to watch. the combination of tracker, lfs-spec-tool and livestream
is more than most tv sport events are providing.

thank you for lifting lfs on another level.
