oneGP Round 2 Results - 61laps at Blackwood Grand Prix


For starters i must thank a few people for there help with this round. A big Thankyou to the Sonicrealms Racing team for providing use of their server when it was realised that the oneGP server was having lag issues - they had their server configured and ready within a few minutes and really helped us ensure a trouble free race, was much appreciated.

Also must thank NSX FreeDoM for his help as the safety car driver, again much appreciated.

Unfortunately the grid size was down a bit for this round, with a few teams unable to make it, but all that did race made it interesting for all, and thankfully only two retirements occurred during the race (and one was due to a pc problem) - Am happy to announce though that there may well be two new teams to the series at round 3, as well as the return of several already listed teams, ensuring a good looking grid for round 3.

It was an interesting race, affected by two short safety car periods that no doubt had an affect on peoples race plans. Most notably affected would have been PRT Sitter who dominated much of the round, setting a blistering pace. At the end of the day though it was [AA] M. Leahy who took out the race win, followed closely by [FRO] Eriksson and PRT Sitter to round out the podium.

Yeah ive got to agree, and the first few laps especially had me quite entertained, with some great clean racing and passing. The guys drove well, and considering we had a smaller start grid this round it was good to see all but two finish without dramas.

The difference in the racing can be seen just from round 1 to round 2, which is exactly what i like about leagues/championships, you get to see drivers improve their standards and approach to their racing. I was also impressed with the very sporting/mature behavior between all the drivers.

Thanks silver and evil. And I wanna thank everyone for the great clean racing. I didn't expect so many people to finish on BL. :thumb:

And I want to especially thank Junkan, Sitter, and Hibex for some great battles. This race surpassed my expectations.

lol- LFSStats picks up the data from replay of all cars on track - so safety car is in stats - unless there is some way to remove a driver then just going to have to overlook that in stats lol

hehe yeah i know mate - i have a few new teams entering at round 3 , so thought id leave it and make the new graphics for each number car when i have skins for new teams too :)

Yeh, BIG congratulations Wooozy, brilliant drive and a fantastic debut in S2 friend, well done! Superb drive also from Hibex, well done bro and to Sitter, great race and times. Shame about the safety cars, but such is life.

Was a very good, close ''racers'' race and really looking forward to the next round.

I think AS2 is even smaller. Did some laps and it is kinda small but should get good racing :).

My mistake mate - next round is as3 (Aston National) - i noticed i wrote the season outline , but made a typo and put AS2 Aston National, when in fact national is AS3.

Yep yep, Ugh I have to wake up at 8 to make it lol. Meh, my bro's always sleeping at that time. He's gunna assissinate me if I wake him up cuz of LFS again. :P

Some of the team mangers have requested their skins remain private, so before i can create a zip of the team skins for ppl to use for replays etc i would need to get their permissions - ill look into it, and create a zip file of any skins that i get permission to add. :)
