There aren't any mods available that change the cars. If there was, they'd probably contain a license checker so demo users can't use them.

Sorry.

Well when you buy the license you get 16 more cars and 6 more environments to race on. There aren't any mods for cars in S2 either though, incase you were talking about that too.

There's LFS Tune, but mine doesn't seem to work. The license checker just fails whenever i try to use it. But as far as I know there were plans for a new LFS tweak a while ago, but its not released yet, neither are details of it.

No. When you are on the track, press SHIFT + A and that will get you to the edit screen for sounds. It is a nice feature, as you can edit in "real time". When you want to exit it, you can see a "X" on the top right part of your screen.

I also suggest you search in the forum to find add on's and mods (http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=24) for the game, there are too many to list.

Bottom line is, you need to explore around this forum, like we have all done. There is no instant gratification with this game, it takes patience and learning of it.

Your name sounds very familiar R.L.Silva... However, at the end of the day LFS has moved on. 0.5Y and 0.5U are very different in how parts of the physics are calculated. This obviously carries across to versions previous to S2 (0.5).

Many of the tools that were available in the "old days of LFS" no longer work without a licence. There are various reasons for this, all of which have been explained many times over.

The long and short of it is, is the fact the that the demo is a DEMO. It's demonstration, not a way of getting something for free with endless modifications. Whilst modifications are generally not tolerated, they are "allowed" here with reasonable licence checking.
