Depending on the number of laps probably none or 1 if its pit required.

You will be required to make 1 pit stop between lap 40-50 for the first race (if this window is too large let me know)

Yes, it's a compulsory pitstop. Just like in the STCC race 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO3LINM0Y-k

No

Ah, ok.

So it can still be a simple stop - go. It's probably what I'll go for but I'll do some testing on the tires see how they are after 50 laps :P

Yes :D

Best thing to do is to wait and pray for a caution within those 10 laps. Cause pitting during a caution would minimize the time lost during a pitstop. Putting under green is difficult. But if no cautions come out then pit on the last lap of the pit window ;)

Yes there will be a pit window. It will be from 40-50.

The half of the race is lap 40, I think 35-45 is a better window

Does it matter? It's only 5 laps later. I like the pit window to be a slightly later than the midpoint :)
