what ports does lfs dedicated server use?

im having trouble with my new windows server and lfs, it cant contact the master server.

apart from the ports defined in the server's config file, what ports does lfs use?

from first look it listens on port 135-150 (or there abouts) for the master server

i'm certainly no expert but my server seems to use 63392 and 29339 both UDP and TCP, ive left my server in the DMZ of my router and left only those gaps in the firewall, it seems to work ok. dunno if this helps:shrug::tilt:

doesnt matter now. a moment of madness.

it was the master server port on 29339 that i was after. my isp was blocking it outbound

i configure all setup.cfg insim,port,in ip i put 127.0.0.1,etc... i opened ports router and winxp firewall but when in setup.cfg change usermaster=no dedicated works but i cant see in multiplayer list. and when i put usemaster=yes dedicated server cant find the masterserver. please need help.

Make sure that port TCP/29339 is open and routing to the IP address correctly.
