[F504D] Formula500 DEMO League

As part of Formula500 (http://formula500.org), we are running a Demo Only Series, consisting of 11 rounds on the two available Demo tracks, using the FBM.

If you are serious about LFS and you wish to win yourself an S2 Licence and Promotion into the S2 League, then get yourself over to www.formula500.org (http://formula500.org).

As this series is for Demo racers only, we are limited to the number of entrants we can have.. Each car/driver will be classed as a "team".

The Demo Series will have its own Championship, with the points winner at the end of the series winning an S2 Licence, with runner up prizes too.

Hi, this sounds like loads of fun! I've taken a look at the site...
I'd love to take part in this, it would be my first league with points and enforced rules so it would be a real blast for me! Hope it goes ahead and you get more interest in this...

If you like you can always make a post in the LFS section of the airattack forum about this mate ( www.airattack.co.uk ) - the airattack demo servers attract a fairly large demo user base and might help spread the word for it further - i know there are many demo racers who would love the chance at an s2 licence. Or if is easier i can place a topic there on it for you.

Burnsy1992 is correct, that information applies to the Demo League too.. Also, in our forums, is a complete list of the configurations of the Demo FBM League.

The Formula500 Registration process is a little more than your demo username however.. You need to visit www.racealliance.net and Register yourself under the F504 Series, When choosing a Class.. Choose F504D.

Also, if you register on the Formula500 forums, our current members will be able to help you out more :)

Hey Stoney - ive mentioned this series to a few of demo users that race on the AirAttack demo servers, but the one thing that confuses me here is the mention of racing on 2 demo tracks with FBM? i presume its actually just run on BL1?

Yes, threw me completly, as when putting the league together I was under the impression demo drivers could use blackwood reverse... Im sure it was that way back when I was a demo driver in the S2 demo before S2.

Lol yeah i gathered u must have overlooked that change, or was thinking you where planning on doing some FBM on Blackwood Rally lol - would have been interesting to say the least lol.

Yeah patch Y was the end of rev configs in demo - makes it hard to run any variety in demo series, but thats part of being demo i guess. Like you mentioned at your forum though, least u have wind and weather settings you can play with to mix things up a bit for it still :)

Due to a serious lack of entries, the Formula500 Demo FBM Series has been pulled from Formula500's Series list. It makes me sad to do this, however, with the amount of work involved with each series, and the time wasted with entrants failing to show, its hardly fair on those who do give their time only to be told events are canceled.

To this end, please consider this series over.

Regarding the S2 Licence.. I guess we will hold off for a while, we will figure something out and see what we can do.

Its really a shame... i know your effort to do this its just sad that no1 cares about win a s2 license, if ur doing another event fot a s2 count me in, i want it so bad...
