This was one of the combos I missed on the preparation events... How was it?

And more importantly: how are you doing now? :)

I've been VERY busy this week unfortunetly with school so I haven't had time to practice at all for this yet. However,I'm pretty sure it's a cool combo.

Don't have that attitude and you'll be just fine. Its all about practice, last time around on this combo people didn't practice : / so get some solid practice in and you will have a good chance.

I had a few online sessions for practising this combo. This is in my opinion one of the hardest combos in the event.

Meanwhile, Dunlop FZ5 is soon done and ready for a tight battle.

Its a pretty heavy car :) Hard to slow down, and acts like a giant oiltanker. But its going to make for an interesting event.

Iīve been practising a bit and i think this is a lot better combo than the horrible last one.:schwitz:I had some old inferno-set as a base and have been making it better.
That wall after 1st chicane is gonna eat racers i think. It destroys ur car for even a small hit.
I also made a skin for this one:thumb:

I like the skin, and yea, I hope I don't slam into the wall during the event, so far practice has been fine but the pressure isn't there when you are by yourself - or not about to get knocked out.

I look forward to smashing you into the wall at the last corner, like last time.

This is the event I did the best in. I qualified in the top half of the grid and nearly made it through to the semi finals.

Are you going to race with TC on or off?

de Souza

I'm afraid it has to stay off if you plan to be competitive. We won't enforce anything, but I think TC will only slow you down...

Only time I found it useful was when I was grass-tracking.

TC is for n00bs...
It only helps in bf1... without it, its undriveable.

I really think, that traction control is only to slow the car down. Even the F-1 car is slower with TC, but if it's switched on, it's much safer. (Check the pre-season F1 tests, while they drove the 2007 cars without TC - they were faster!) If the race would last for 65 laps, or so, a good TC setting would be better. But this race will be all about hotlaps, driving on/beyond the limit, so (I think) using the TC will be a wrong decision. Set the car up well, and you dont need the traction control.

It only helps in bf1... without it, its undriveable.

With some practice (a lot, actually), you can learn to drive BF1 w/o traction control.
