Does anyone know a good reason why cars shouldn't be gridded as far from each other as possible, when less than eight?

It's more difficult to follow your opponent? Makes it boring too, dragging virtually alone (not that it would be terribly interesting to being with :p). In my opinion, of course. :)

I wouldnt mind it. Would help when people spin out.

Yeah, it's to add more safety from spinouts.. they'd only be a few more yards away, it would be worth it.
