Somewhere on South City, there's a round about bit, and if opened there would be an oval. Al beit a tiny oval.

Oval for UF-1000. :)
I kind of like Kyoto ring. I have played some old nascar -game back in the 90's, and I just don't like "round ovals". All 3 (Actually 4) corners in Kyoto are little bit different from each other, and thus makes more variety to it. Much more interesting than "Green lights -> Keep throttle 100% -> Finish line -> Slow down and go to pits

Had you watch IRL & NASCAR?
in some small Oval, you should slow down before coner

No, haven't watched oval-racing, as it is not popular in Europe. Yes, I know that it isn't pedal to the metal all the time (I exaggerated a little bit, I admit). My point was that purely oval track would be really boring to drive (For same reason purely flat tracks would also be boring). Kyoto offers three (Or four, if you want to call that little turn in starting line a corner...) "unique" turns.
I guess that was my point. Not sure any more, as I took a nap and I am all fuzzy right now. :)

It is boring if you run with yourself
but very exciting if you fright with another
no thouch, but wheel to wheel, set the winner by wisdom.

This is really going off-topic, but in nascar-game (Back in the 90's) best way to win was ramming... ;)

i think a small oval would be very interesting. Maybe like Milwaukee, or Gateway in St. Louis. Motegi style isalso interesting. More skill neccessary.

IDK about a street oval, but a short oval for sure. A Half-Mile, very low banking would be God-like.

You can make a flat oval as an autocross layout, I'm pretty sure there is at least one running in the rotation on the CTRA BnJ server.
