Whats the reason for this?

Presume thiss appears at random rather than you crashing through fences!
Check you are running current Foreceware drivers, motherboard drivers etc...:thumb:

I had those artifacts when my geforce 4 overheated, but it could be a driver thing as well..

Yeah, it's either driver issues or overheating. What you see here is the (or one of many) vertex shaders going nuts, resulting in weirdly misplaced vertices (polygons).

Thanks for your advise!
The problem is solved with transparancy aa off :thumb:

i got those glitches a while back, was just due to faulty drivers. had to roll back my drivers until nvidia brought out new ones.

I have this with AA at 8x. Everything other than 8x and it's fine. I haven't tried the transparency AA thing, though. 81.95 fixes a lot of stuff in other games for me, I haven't got around to trying this yet.

Transparancy aa definitly shows this artifacts when set to "supersampling" , "multisampling" works without errors. But the differences are so small(if there are any) in LFS you can disable it.
A 7800gtx overheating with LFS is very unlikely. LFS barely uses the Cards power. The Card temperature and fanspeed is lower when playing LFS then with any other 3D Game i got.
