The Champion of LFSBC Season 1 was Craig Taylor (TAYLOR-MANIA) of England. Congratulations!
He wins a trial with Adaptive Racing.
53907
Second Place in the Championship went to Timo Hynninen (Hyntty) of Finland. He took Craig to the last race of the season, and it was a fantastic Championship battle. Congratulations.
53903
Third place went to Tadas Vaskelis (Kablikus) of Lithuania. He scored well throughout the season, and won the 'Most Improved Driver Award'. Congrats to you too.
(Photo to come)
The 'Best Driver' and 'Best Performance' (for Round 1) awards went to Taha El Aloui (evilpimp) of Canada. He scored the most amount of wins this season, and his 4th place in the Championship was down to some unlucky breaks. Congrats.

The 'Best Skin' award and the 'Most Friendly Competitor Award' went to Stan Lee (Stan) of England. Stan's 'cow cars' were excellently skinned and looked great. (Previews here) (http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=51098&d=1205144428)He was unanamously voted for the most friendly competitor due to his great attitude and general niceness. (Thanks for the cheesy pic Joe)

Last (and least!), we come to the 'Worst Fail' award. Unfortunately, we had quite a few 'major fails' this season, and there were many nominations. I didn't realise for 3 weeks that there were 2 Round 5s. Dekojester removed half the results of Round 4 by placing his damned parc ferme AX layout, and Hyntty spelt his name wrong at that round too. However, the worst failer by far is Joseph Ellis (JO53PHS) [sadly from England]. A quote from the 'voting' page, for his list of fails:
Causing a massive pile up at round 3 - the only round he practiced properly for, crashing into Marlbro's car that was sitting upside down on the track, messsing up the LFSBC forum, messing up R8 FP by accidentally placing a start point (x2), placing another start point which resulted in Deko and Jack continually being kicked from DR1 , Probably the lowest ranked competitor that bothered to show up at some of the rounds :D, Managing to crash at EVERY race in the LFSBC Festival, Having dinner during R8 :(, Nearly taking out HynTTy in R8, Using the wrong circuit in the GTR race @ South city race in the Festival
My R3 fail captured on tape (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDoaJGxh5Js)
So, um, congrats (?) to Joe.
With a just photo, I think.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped with this season, especially Dekojester for being Race Control. I hope to see as many of you again (but not anyone who finished better than 8th :D) in Season 2  We've had some fantastic racing.

I'd like to wish evilpimp all the best in the IGTC - great to see you racing in such a great series after this season

This year's Kyoto 500 saw a very exciting, challenging and enjoyable race. From around the half-way point onwards, J. Laurberg (lamerr) and O. Peterman, of the Fragmaster team were battling for the lead, constantly swapping places, as they drafted each other through corners. It looked like one of them was going to win.
An unfortunate accident between the pair of them on lap 242 abruptly ended both their races.
B. Goga (BranislavS) led the race after the incident, and went on to win the race.
61289
M. Noordhoek (ramses) came 2nd, 20s behind the race leader
61288
B. Wijnholds (jackal1974) was classified as 3rd, after J Munir (J Myster) recieved a penalty.
61287
Congrats to all who took part
