dedicated host [solved]

plz. help......i downloaded this "lfs dedicated host" thingee from the site but cannot figure out how to make it work.......can some one explain in few simple steps.....has it got something to do with that "start specific game" thingee in the game menu.......

Have you read the host-FAQ (http://www.liveforspeed.net/host.htm) and set your config file? Or what exactly does not work, where are you stuck?

The Dedicated Host files need to be kept SEPERATE from the actual game.. All you do is edit the setup.cfg to the settings you want.. then just start the LFS.exeand u will see a small window with the server status open.. thats it.. ur server should then be running for people to connect to...(assuming no problems with routers ect..)

If you want to host a game just every now and then while playing you can do that through the normal game just go to Multiplayer, Start New Game.
