I have the latest ati driver from microsoft (...if this game doesnt support it, then I dont care to play an unprofessional application)

I'm using:
Gecube RADEON 9200 SE 128mb Game Buster (ATI)

Does it do it in other games?

It looks like the memory on the card is borked, but it could be drivers, try updating your graphics card drivers to the latest release, and try updating DirectX if you havent already.

Check your case temperatures, images screw up with heat, is your CPU, GFX card or memory running hot? Whatsthe airflow like in your case?

Microsoft don't make ATi drivers, and if ATi can't be bothered to make their drivers compatible with games like LFS that don't use anything especially fancy or groundbreaking in the graphics department, then thats ATi's fault for being unprofessional, not LFS's.

If you think LFS is unprofessional because it doesn't work with the latest ATi drivers (if indeed that is the case), then it is your loss, not LFS's. We will continue to have plenty of fun and good times with LFS without you, even if we are not using the latest and most buggy ATi drivers.

Never said microsoft made the driver. They release drivers for certain graphics cards (from their respective companies).

No, it has never done this in any other game. I have not had a single problem with the graphics card not working with any other games either.
Worked fine for HL2 engine,WoW,EQ2,AO and whatever other million games ive played.
Everything renders fine, the cars, etc. It just seems to be the text...

Edit:: found post with someone else having same problem..., so nevermind.

Thanks for assistance anyways

Check this thread (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=3639) (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=3639%29). LFS doesn't like recent ATi drivers. As far as I know, upgrading the GFX driver will not improve LFS performance or behaviour(in most cases), so there is no need to upgrade drivers...

Heh, this is my 100 post here.... :)
