'resetting my lfs'

hey i just reinstalled my lfs. backupped everything
but like a dumbass i am, i didnt make a screen of my settings.
Now i did add the texture mod, but the game still looks like sh*t (graphics)...
and my steering wheel is no longer on 540' degrees.
this really sucks...
i got DFP btw, dunno if its usefull information.

can some1 send me screen to get the highest graphics possible?
And for steering wheel to get the 540 degrees settings...

For GFX, Maybe this thread could help?

Just copy and overwrite the backed-up "cfg.txt" into your new LFS folder. That will restore all GFX settings. Of course you still have to find and re-install all the texture modes (or copy them from your backup, too?)

Wait, what exactly did you do when you made the "backup". You made a copy of your old LFS installation, didn't you? Or did you just make screenshots of your settings :really:

i copied some files ;)
paste back in ..
got high GFX back again...

now my steering wheel..
some1 in a server helped me out, and worked through settings, i dont know wut anymore :(

You probably need to go
- into control panel
- Game Controllers
- Select the DFP and press Properties
- Then find "degree's of rotation" and set the slider to 540'

Try pressing . (period, full stop) in game... it turns up the force feedback level

It is on 900 degrees... but it seems its using only 180 to steer.
... i know darren can give me settings again :')....

but still, i got the feeling its not like it was before...

Ok i used nhancer or something... everything looks good again, exept for the cars xD they are less nice now

(p.s. i didnt mean to make u mad by evading u mate ;))

edit2: yeah.. i just changed some settings... trying.. and i got it :) cost me 12fps.. but it looks smoothhhhhhh (H)
