gear assignment

Just about cracked the setup of my DFP but still struggeling on the gear changing seem to work when i use a clutch for a button altho i want it as trip tronic any one got any ideas ?

Been helping this chap on MSN (like the kind newbie loving soul I am!).

His paddle shifter works fine in LFS, but his stick shifter (on the DFP) doesn't work. He's using Wingman 4.60, and I've set up his windows game controllers, wingman software and LFS as best I can.

However, I'm stumped as I don't actually have a DFP, and I've not read about this problem before. With the stick shifter, he gets a - on the screen when he tries to change gear. Gear change is set to sequential, and clutch is on auto (and shifter is assigned).

Fancy helping out if you have a DFP?

Edit: Cancel that, he got it working (not sure which bit was the cure though, sorry). So I'm going to bed. Knackered - got the brakes working on the F3, make a foam seat (geez it gets hot when it reacts), and did a few little things. Plan is to run up and down the local airfield in it on Sunday, and have our Xmas dinner from our caravan on the airfield!!!

And Rankin says he's gonna buy S2 tomorrow morning!! Yayness. I should start charging commission!
