Black screen after LFS?

hey...
this problem is really getting to piss me off!

sometimes when i ALT TAB from LFS, or choose anything in the Menu.. i get black screen and it wont turn back on!
after that, after a few tries i might be lucky if it works again...

it only happens after playing LFS...
should it help if i delete and reinstall LFS?

Sounds like LFS isn't terminating properly, I would reinstall it. Also make sure you're not running -any- other 3D applications, or anything that utilizes the video card and/or it's driver.

Eh? Works fine for me; I do it all the time.On my old PC I couldn't always restore LFS to the screen after that. And on my current PC alt+tabbing makes the dashboard and mirrors appear as pixel mess.

Eh? Works fine for me; I do it all the time.It may work, but it also may not. :) This is a known problem with how Windows behaves when ALT+TABing. There's not really anything Scawen can do to fix it. Use SHIFT+F4 to be safe.

The OP may have a different problem though...

deinstall LFS is delete all, or is there an uninstall??

So your entire system goes black? Windows and all? In that case something bigger is going on. Try updating drivers and see if that helps. If it doesn't it may be the graphics card is broken, or the screen as you suggested yourself.

Does this -only- happen when you tab out, or quite the game? If this is the only time it happens, it's unlikely anything is broken, but the game is at fault.
It's so easy to reinstall you may as well give it a try, backup anything you want to keep (setups/skins etc..) and copy new game files.

yes that's i thought... i dont think anything is broken no.
ill backup some things. just delete all right? and install with setup (new downloaded?)
ill give it a try, hopefully problems are gone.

also thought so.
but when my computer is on screensaver. and i press button to get back to windows it also happens sometimes.
so im gonna clean up my computer (dust) and see if the graphic card is still well connected.

It's caused by having v-sync on.
