Remove old LFS and install newer LFS (Patch Y).

I goto the shop pay £20 then someone tells me i can just download it..

Nvm Forget it. Ill stick offline.

If there was an updater for Q I would pay a license but since there Isnt. And i have a slow internet. Im not gonna bother to redownload to Y

My point is.. I dont want to redownload S2 with the internet i have.. Would take days.

Oh, I see the problem now.

I doubt there is a Q->Y updater patch. I'm afraid that you'll have to download the whole Y-patch.

Na forget it. Had LFS one day, And already Im annoyed from the lack of Program updates Ect.

Support is good tho.

If you manage to get annoyed by the lack of updates after one day as S2 licensed, LFS really isn't for you anyway. It's going to be a good long while before we're at S2 final, much less S3.

Anyway, your license is still there if you change your mind.

You don't have to register to play LFS. And yes, I am also wondering about the £20. My opinion is that he has bought an old Q-patch (Someone cheated him and sold him a cd with a patch).

The only official place you can buy LFS is on LFS.net. Now you know.

If you have patch Q then, yes, I understand you would be annoyed by the lack of updates, but seen as you only have patch Q you have missed all updates.........you see the problem.

The demo is FREE. Why you paid £20 for a free demo I dunno, but you were ripped off.

If you can't download it then can you get a friend to download it and burn it to a CD for you, even put it on a flash drive?

Ah yes, I registered on LFS about 6 months after I got the demo too, I should have known...:shrug:

But the £20...ouch...did you not even look at the lfs.net site before buying it to see if the game looked any good? Then you would've seen the price lol

o.k i had never had lfs before and i downloaded it. i cannot get into the y lfs it keep on going to xpatch. everytime i go to y it has to extract i let it extract then i click on lfs icon and it will go back to x wtf is up ?:schwitz:

Who said he paid £20 for the demo? He probably paid £20 for a hooky Patch Q CD...

Best bet is to download Y again - http://games.internode.on.net/filelist.php?filedetails=14171

If you're on bandwidth limit or whatever, it should prompt you to download a Y updater when you go into X anyway...
